I posted this on another board and was curious as to what you bro's thought..

I am not a strong squatter...I have a touchy lower back and have had ACL surgery on
my knee 2 years ago..however I still like to squat and can do 275 for 12 (however..I can
bench 275 for 13..hmmm something ain't right here) anyway..the other day I decided to
try the 20 rep squat thing...I got loose and put 135 on the bar and did 20 reps...good
burn going in the old legs..bumped it up to a whopping 155 (Im not stupid) and did 20
and almost puked my guts out....(I will never look at a barbell loaded with 155lbs the
same again) my head was spinning my stomach was rolling and thank god I didn't have
any gas cuz I would of shit myself right there in the gym... Anyone doubts how hard 20
rep squats are..give them a shot and post your experience...My opinion...They
SUCK!!!!(so that means they work)

soon i will be able to 20 rep 100kgs...
deadlifts somehow seem easier in the 20 rep format...i can do 140kgs...which is ludicrous, because i'm not that strong
i guess i'm used to the squats, i probably do too many of them. something i find really hard are 5*5's. i just wilt and die on these.

but 20-rep are fun aren't they? it's a real sense of achievement when you feel like you can't move after the set and your brain is frozen and you just lie there and try not to puke. or on notable occasions, DO puke. (not that often though). aahhhhhh, i'm sick.
