MORE AND MORE I CONTINUE TO SEE THE SAME QUESTIONS BEING ASKED BY NEWBIES AND SOME EVEN BY MEMBERS THAT HAVE BEEN ON THE BOARD FOR A WHILE. I CANT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MANY FINA POSTS AND POSTS ABOUT WHEN WILL THIS KICK IN BLAH BLAH BLAH. PLEASE PEOPLE, THERE IS A SEARCH TOOL ON THE SCREEN. DO THE MODS AND VETS A FAVOR AND USE IT BEFORE YOU GO POSTING A TOPIC ABOUT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE EASILY RESEARCHED BY USING THE SEARCH TOOL. THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR.. I UNDERSTAND THAT DIVER BUT MY POINT IS, IF THE QUESTION HAS BEEN POSTED 10 TIMES ALREADY, WHY NOT USE THE SEARCH? THE ANSWERS ARE ALREADY OUT THERE. THE PROBLEM IS, A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE TOO LAZY TO SEARCH FOR THEM. | ||

I'm new, so this sort of thing applies to me - and I have and do try to use the search - but coming from a programmer's point of view, that thing isn't so great - you can't specify which group you want, so I frequently get things en espenol, and also it isn't always clear what the message is about in the search and it is pain in the ass to have to click through all of the 100 messages returned. I love this site, but there are little things that could make it better. | ||

what the fuck?!? if you see the question over and over, DONT ANSWER IT... if the "newbies" used search for everythign then the board would have 5 posts per day.. think about it, the boards been around a year, so do you really think NEW AND EXCITING questions are getting asked all the time??? ya, i am sick and tired of people telling newbies to use the search key... i guess you could have used the search key and found this topic a hundred times too. | ||

mb= believe me i wont answer any dumb ass questions that get asked. my point is that im looking out for the bext interest of the board and the fact that the board is slowly gonna turn into shit if its nothing but repeated questions. how many times have you seen a question asked about something and all the replies are "use the search"???? | ||

Well this topic has been beat to death on the board but you posted it again. And next month someone else will post it and so on........ Where does it end? Make this a reference (encyclopedia type) site only? No one wants that! | ||

zeus, just to let you know... the new guys dont know that these questions have been asked already, just like you didnt know when you first got here, and so and so... the board has already declined... i would defend this board and the way it does things forever, but the board is shit compared to what it was. | ||
