Hey guys, A question. I do have a history of male pattern baldness, but I have a couple bottles of propecia on the way. Now, I want to use quite a bit of test without having to worry about losing any hair. Taking only 1 pill (1mg finasteride) a day, if I took 500mg sust would I have to worry about losing any hair? Also, could I still use a low dose of Deca (200mg/week) while using propecia? Let me know bros. Nick     | ||

I used propecia for an entire year...religiously....and it didn't do anything. I wasn't even on AS. I thought it would at least stop the loss...but with me, I achieved nothing...except a slightly weaker sex drive. I have a pretty thick healthy head of hair as well....but it still receeded. I finally said screw it and shaved my head. | ||

Finasteride reduces the level of DHT in your scalp but but also affects those levels in other parts of your body - if you do some sust, expect DHT levels to be sky high compared to what they usually are (due to testosterone conversion) - The Finasteride will be quite ineffective in stopping anything - I would use a topical solution such as Rogaine 5%... mail me if you need more help. |
