Just wondering how many guys split up their routine and train twice a day? I was thinking of trying something like this: Day 1 AM chest PM triceps Day 2 AM Back PM biceps Day 3 OFF Day 4 AM shoulders PM light chest Day 5 AM Quads PM Hamstrings Day 6 OFF Right now, I'm basically doing the same schedule, just combining the AM and PM parts into one workout. Do you think splitting it up will make a big diff? [This message has been edited by lpw (edited December 19, 2000).] ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'll do it on occasion...It's easier when you have a home gym. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Santo- did you notice a big difference when you split it up? Did you feel like you got better strength and size gains? ![]() ![]() ![]()

i say do it all at one time and take it easy the rest of the day. u are working your tri's when u work your chest, so in my opinion that would be like working your tri's twice in one day. same for back/bi's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Only time I'll do something like that is when I'm cutting. Cardio A.M and weight training P.M. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When cutting, Morning Cardio at home or in the neighborhood and evening lifting at GOLDS. Of course when I'm bulking it could be morning lifting and evening cardio with a women. ![]() ![]() ![]()

cardio + abs in the gym here at work at lunch, then whatever needs to be done in the evening. It gives me more energy in the evening and takes less time to train also. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

fuck - if i made my own hrs i wouldn't make very many of em!the only days i would pull a split would be for the bi's and tri's ex;legs there is no need to do chest twice a week. ![]() ![]() ![]()

When I'm on a cycle I'll either go twice a day or do a 4-6 hour marathon workout. The pumps on the longer workouts are amazing but I would bet splitting it up is more beneficial. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was thining about Dorians program and spliting it up in to AM and PM for my next cycle. I wouldn't try it natural.. 1 AM Shoulders traps PM tri's 2 AM abs calves PM Back 3 off 4 AM Chest PM bi's forearms 5 AM Quads PM Hamstrings 6 off repeat The workout out would be less than 45 min including warmup, streching, cooldown. Perhaps even shorter when doing bi's and tris. Keep this one up for the bigger guys> Maybe you'll have some insight on this. . .. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
