This stuff is increasingly more available. The label says Testosterone 100mg/gm. Which form of testosterone is used when a pharmacist compounds a testosterone topical cream? Any experience with this out there? [This message has been edited by john937 (edited December 19, 2000).]     | ||

A buddy of mine tried it and didn't like it at all. It gave him bad stomach cramps and didn't see hardly any gains. I'm not too sure how much he was using a day but he went through 10 tubs before he gave up and said it was a waste. Just get used to the needle bro. I had a phobia for them at first and now I like doing them. Scary huh? Later, Green | ||

I think this stuff is pure testosterone, with no esther modification. I should think that would mean the body would more readily accept it and use it. I can't imagine a transdermal cream causing the stomach cramps. I'm not interested because of needles. I use needles for test cypionate, no big deal. I'm interested because I can get just about as much as I want of this for almost nothing. It's good and fresh and guaranteed real, it came from a known pharmacy in town. I've gone on cycles of 1000mg cypionate per week and made gains but also gotten bloated and moonface, and my voice dropped a register (which I liked). Now I'm trying the testosterone cream and I can't tell whether I'm getting the same amount in my blood, but I do notice my voice dropped another half register, but the water retention has gone. The EF Quiz #1 question 14 states an Androderm patch would contain 24.4 mg dose of which 5mg would be absorbed. Using the same ratio, this cream (2gm/day) would contain 200mg dose of which around 41 mg would be absorbed! Can that be right? .....let's see 24.4 is to 5 as 200 is to x... multiply by 5...divide by 24.4....yes!.. 41mg per day absorbed. So a daily dose of this is 8 times stronger than an andrderm patch? No wonder my voice dropped. Of course all that math depends on the absorbtion rates being the same and the testosterone ester being equally effective... I rather thought the "I don't like pins" crowd would be all over this topic. | ||
