And also who here does forearms? I was just figuring out my new lifting routine and if I do one bodypart a day it will take me about 8 days to complete my whole body.

I don't understand what you mean by "is getting six or seven days rest undertraining?" You mean working out 1 day of week and taking the rest of the week off??

Bro.. you need to combine body parts..... like...

Chest/Tri's
Back/Bi's
Quads/Calves/Hammies
Shoulders/Traps

throw in something like forearms on any day you want.. atleast that's how i would do it. You should be able to work your whole body in 4 days.. if you double up one day, u can do it in 3 days.

If your workouts are really intense you need 6 or 7 days to recover. So, training a bodypart once a week might be ok. But, like spunky says, you need to double up some to stay w/in a week.
This is what I do:
Day 1 Chest
Day 2 Back
Day 3 Rest
Day 4 Quads/hams
Day 5 Shoulders
Day 6 Bis/tris
Day 7 Rest
There's no one right answer. Experiment and find out what works best for you.

AZ, that's the work out schedule I use as well. My body responds very well to only working one body part a day. Everyone is different and results will obviously vary. I think it's largely a matter of personal preference and trial and error.
