Hey guys, I don't want to sound ignorant, but never planned on being able to get any HCG. A few questions though are: 1. Is $90 too expensive for HCG? It came with 1 ml of liquid solvent and a bigger ampule of powder. The powder says 10.000 UI ( is this spanish for 10,000 interanational units?) 2. There is 10/99 at the bottom of both amps by Serono label. Is this ok to use if past the date? 3. I've read that about 1500 IU's should be injected once a week for 2 weeks, but have also heard taht the mixture be split into three 1/4ml injections every few days. Which one is correct? Thanks for you help.    | ||

Profasi 10,000IU hcg by serono costs around $15 in mexico (maybe less)- so I'd say $90 is a ripoff.  | ||

1. Prices vary. If you get it in Mexico, you can pick it up for under $20. On the other hand, if you get it in the States from a Pharmacist, it'll be more, but $90 does sound a little high. Basically, it comes down to how badly you want it and what your options are. If it's your only source and you can afford it, then fine. 2. Can't say. But if it's expired, then $90 is definitely too much. 3. People do this alot of different ways. I like 1000IUs everyday for 10 days. Some guys split it up into 4 2500IU shots. Basically, the idea is to split the 10,000IUs up over 2 wks. | ||

By the way, I'm assuming you're using this post cycle to get your 'nads going again. In that case, don't forget the clomid. Also, some complain of getting gyno from HCG, so have some Nolvadex handy, too. | ||

Well, I've been trying for the clomid for some time now, but no one I know uses it or thinks its even necessary (not sure why they don't think so). But, I clomid doesn't become available, should the HCG even be taken at all to kickstart the test again? | ||

I'm not sure, but I don't think HCG w/o the clomid is a great idea. The main reason to use HCG, as I understand it, is to give your test a short boost, until the clomid (longer acting) kicks in. HCG will jump start your test, but it's short acting, so once you stop you'll crash, maybe even harder than if you didn't take it at all. That's why I'm not sure it's such a good idea to do the HCG alone. There's a thread about tribulus being like clomid. maybe check into that? | ||

i would say it is too expensive for mail order but on hand i would pay it if there are no other alternatives. |
