I am curious if anyone knows why Terribulous Terrestrus (sp) is perfectly legal OTC, but Clomid is not. From what I understand, they both work very similarly and produce similar effects, so does anyone know why one is legal and the other is not? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They don't work even remotely as well as each other my friend. . .that is why one is sold at GNC and one is sold overseas or by your friendly neighborhood source. Clomid, there is no substitute for getting you balls back and swinging. . .accept maybe HCG, but that's another thread entirely. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

So basically, Clomid can't be sold OTC because it works better than Terribulous? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Let me guess, you read the email from elite pushing there tribulus? I read this too and wondered the same after reading it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well, I had actually been wondering that for a long time. but the email from elite is what inspired me to actually post about it. I already have plenty of clomid and was considering getting some tirribulous too, but I guess I don't really need the tirrib. Guess I'll just use the money that I would have spent on Tirrib to buy more clomid, if I need it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Clomid & HCG are great, but Tribulus is very good too and very inexpensive. Tribulus, like all supplements, can be sold legally because it can occur in nature -- although not in nearly the potency of what you get from a reputable supplement company. ------------------ George George Spellwin Tell your friends about elitefitness.com! I appreciate everyone's attempt to answer my question so far, but I am wondering if there is another factor that may be involved. I mean, afterall, marijuana and magic mushrooms occur naturally, yet they are not legal, so why would occurring naturally make a testosterone booster legal? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Clomid is a synthetic pharmaceutical and therefore regulated as such, while T. terrestris is a natural product, and can be sold as a food supplement. Testosterone and marijuana, are regulated, even though they are naturally occuring, because the government has classified them as potentially harmful to the public. This was easy for the FDA to do many years ago, since the FDA had the ability to force the producer to show lack of toxicity before they could sell the product. But with the passing of the Hatch (DSHEA, I think) bill, the FDA must show that the product is harmful to stop the producer from selling it. Obviously the government can step in if the product is known to be harmful, say something like Hemlock, so there is some reasonable control. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
