i dunno what the deal is.. its never happened before.. its still sore to the touch. my glute usually never get sore, if they do its just for a day or 2. not this long. should i try a heating pad?     | ||

I had similiar pain this week also, but in the quad. I'm usually sore for 2 days after shooting winny but I shot on monday in the quad and on friday morning it hurt like hell, I walked with a severe limp. I used heating pad, and soaked in jacuzzi several time and had my friend do a deep muscle massage. The massage hurt like a bitch with tears streaming down my face but it felt better four hours later with the combo of a shitload of ibuprofen. Feels better now but I have no idea why it developed to that point. Hope this helps. ------------------ | ||

It oculd be injection Site Trama or Infection. I'd lay my money on injection site trama. Did you move the needle around, tense, aspirate to much, move the needle in or out, or not go in enough, or gone in too far? Many ways to hurt yourself. -MO ------------------ | ||

Do that and if at all possible soak in some very hot water, even if it's just the tub. With the exception of the massage that's what I think helped the most. Shit at least you'll be able to walk for a few hours.  ------------------ | ||

MeanOne seems to have cover it. . .I would soak the area with warm water and obviously not hit the same area again. Could very well be trauma from moving the pin. . .I get it whenever I hit my gluts, hard to turn that far and push 3 cc's if you know what I mean. Good Luck. ------------------ | ||

i think that could be it.. cuz there is no swelling just pain whenever i touch the glute. the needle does move a little when i aspirate. im not huge but im large enough to make it hard to twist that far and use both hands.... even when lying on the floor w/ one leg over the other which is the easiest way for me. | ||

Well, here's how I do glute injections. You only need one hand on the syringe this way (Because you will only have one avaliable). 70% of the medical profession streches the injection area for two reasons. To make a precise injection (not needed) and to stretch the muscle to that when you go back to your relaxed possition the holes won't line up and the oil dosen't leak out. I do the opposite. Standing up, and grab my glute with the opposite side hand, and push or bunch it up. Then, holding the syringe with my middle finger and thumb, and pierce the skin, and push in about 1 inch. Still keeping my one hand bunching up the glute, I can pull the plunger back with the finger found between the middle and thumb to aspirate. No blood...use the same finger to inject. --==MeanOne==-- ------------------ | ||

I still have pain from one I shot last Sunday. It has been like this throughout the whole cycle bro. My injection site usually hurts up until the day of my next shot. I've also had 2 infections during this cycle. I never thought I would've been happy to say that this cycle is over bro, but this is the worst cycle I've ever had. Just keep hitting it with a heating pad, and keep an eye out for signs of infection,such as body temperature, redness or swelling of injection site... ------------------ | ||

Meanone, haven't done this before, so I'm wondering what size needle are you using?...my concern is if I would be able to push the oil out with one finger on the plunger only considering I was using a 23 or 25gauge-some lads here say it is often too tough to push the oil out with only 1 finger and need both hands to get the job done. | ||
