had mine removed about 1 month ago.i paid nothing.my medical insurance covered it.as for scars i dont have any.she cut through tha ariola, which is the lower dark part of the nipple, she stiched internally so there is no visible scar.the only thing is she did not do lipo because that is considered cosmetic and will not be covered.so i do still have fat on my chest, but my nopples are flat.when i diet down the fat will diminished and then will be able to see a biiger difference.hope this helps

That's awesome that your insurance paid, I'm fighting with my HMO now to get them to pay anything on gyno surgery caused by hypogonadism

I had mine done in 1996 ,,so happens a friend thats a bodybuilder is also a surgeon and did it for free ..good to have friends,
also it took about 3months til I was comforable enough to train and he took out all the glands so I will never get gyno again.looked nasty though,,,like fried egg whites,,with ketchup,,,

Well it cost me about $3ooo. It was considered cosmetic so none of it was covered. I went in at about 6am and was out later that afternoon. As far as scars go you would have to get about an inch away from my nips to notice anything at all. I had that puffy nipple crap and now they are back to being flat again. Hooray!! I had it done a few years ago so the price might have went up. Look up gyno on the net a lot of sites with good info.

Later,

I HAD SURGERY LAST MONTH. I HAD LIPO DONE TO MY PECS. MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER IT. IT COSTED 3200 DOLLARS, AND I WAS OUT OF THE GYM FOR A MONTH. NO SCARS AT ALL. THREE INCISIONS WHERE THE LIPO WAS DONE, BUT THE INCISIONS CLOSED UP AND NO SCARRING..
