I just finished Bob Paris' "my life in bodybuilding - Gorilla Suit" and it's got the real deal stories about Drugs in the late 70's & 80's as well as how manipulative Joe & Ben Weider were and still are to all the Pro's that can generate revenue for them & toss them aside afterwards. If you liked "Pumping Iron" you'll love the book. ------------------     | ||

Yeah, I liked "Gorilla Suit" much better than Sam Fussel's "Muscle." The parts concerning Weider are very interesting. You think Weider had phone taps on the WBF guys? | ||

Thats the way it sounded to me, I mean the timing was just to coincidental for the contracts and all that. Remember the few WBF shows? Man what a bunch of lame "worse than WWF" stuff, and it's a shame to because if it had worked the Weider monopoly would have had some competition. ------------------ |
