I just finished Bob Paris' "my life in bodybuilding - Gorilla Suit" and it's got the real deal stories about Drugs in the late 70's & 80's as well as how manipulative Joe & Ben Weider were and still are to all the Pro's that can generate revenue for them & toss them aside afterwards. If you liked "Pumping Iron" you'll love the book.

Yeah, I liked "Gorilla Suit" much better than Sam Fussel's "Muscle." The parts concerning Weider are very interesting. You think Weider had phone taps on the WBF guys?

Thats the way it sounded to me, I mean the timing was just to coincidental for the contracts and all that. Remember the few WBF shows? Man what a bunch of lame "worse than WWF" stuff, and it's a shame to because if it had worked the Weider monopoly would have had some competition.
