Man he is huge, no thick. Watching him on tv is looks 7ft tall, but he is about 5'8 or so. His muscle thickness is unbelievable. I work out at an La Fitness outside of Ft. Laud. Fl. Just last week Ozzie Canseco was there also. Hes a big boy too. Just though it was pretty cool to actually see a pro of that magnitude face to face. I now know I dont want to get that big or anywhere near it. Not saying I have the genetics or the cash flow, or the dedication, well forget it the list goes on. Who else has anyone seen face to face???     | ||

I know Bruce Paterson, not as a best friend but someone I say Hi when I see him. He has extremely good genetics but you all know when it went all down the drain! I met other pro but all females. | ||

I met Vince Taylor in Syracuse...helluva nice guy..did his Terminator routine....Met Ronnie Coleman back in '97....he was the biggest man I've ever met in my life....I also went to dinner and went to a show put on by Muscletech model-boy Jeremy Freeman.....hes from Syracuse....real nice guy...friggin huge in person too...it was cool cause he was at the NYS show in Rochester a few years back just watching..there was a powerlifting contest going on....anyone could enter and do it..included standing overhead barbell press....Jeremy entered at the prodding of his girlfriend...and swept it...Overhead pressed 365lbs! It was cool as shit to see... ------------------ | ||

In Flex a while back Shawn was saying that he uses training partners like sparring partners, and tries to run them into the ground. Was it that crazy? | ||

Mike Matarazzo is my dad. J/K. This isn't like a really kick-ass story or anything, but Craig Titus did a guest posing routine at a local amature show. When he did his encore, he came down into the audience and did a double front biceps right next to me. FREAKY!! His lats are incredible. Dude's only about 5'7" though. Looks a lot bigger in the mags. ------------------ | ||

Met the Oak himself in 1990 when he was the chairman of the Presidential Physical Fitness program. He was doing a 50 state tour and lucky for me it was not well advertised. Real nice guy, believe it or not. Talked with him a few minutes and he even looked me up and down checking out my gains - probably because it was mostly fifth graders around me who were there to meet him, so any 19-year-old who had been lifting for 2 years would have stood out. Told him that it was a pleasure to meet him and shook his hand. He has BIG ASS HANDS!!!!! LOL! | ||

bros if you workout at golds in venice you see all the guys, but I am trying to join them not look at them, j/k, but yeah I see titus, ferrigno, newman, cormier, rico mcclinton, kickenger, aaron baker, jay cutler, charles glass, tito martinez, and alot others at least once a week. I work as a host at the hotel where the body builders stay for the arnold Classic. We drive them around to grocery shop etc. I had Ronnie Coleman and Vicki Gates in my Toyota Celica a few years ago. Ronnie was there for support of Vicki. My car was leaning to the left. Ronnie shoulder was well past his side of the car. I can't wait till the first weekend in March for the 2001 Arnold Classic. | ||

Lawnsaver...Ive seen him a few times...you work out where I work out when Im in town...Golds in Sunrise,,,when he was on the leg press one day I ask if I could work in..he said had one more...next time...nasser guest posed at one of my shows...now he is a big dude.....keep in touch neigbor | ||

Hey animal I got your email... Yes they are some big guys. Thats a lifestlye that I have only glanced into. I cant say I want to live it, but to train and treat my body right makes me feel good and thats the bottom line. |
