i told you on an earlier post how packages that were mailed from overseas were siezed...i just got a call from my dad and they busted some guy in my home town...i know he wouldnt sign for them because he knew they were siezed by customs by the tracking numbers. one was also sent to my addy where i dont even live yet so i know im probably wanted there as well since there is a warrant for my arrest in my home town. i have a clean record, the country where the gear was sent from it was legal ...what can they charge me with?? i am out of state but my dad told me there is a warrant. i have tried to contact rick collins...anyone know of a good lawyer in GA and FL? thanks [This message has been edited by shawdawg (edited December 15, 2000).]     | ||

How much are we talking here? Did the guy name you as the dealer? If he did not sign and there was a fake name I am not sure how they could bust him. I could get someones address and send them some crack and they would have no control over it. I had some test seized and all I got was a letter from customs asking if I wanted to claim it. Okay, first why do they have a warrant for your arrest without any proof? They need to question you before they can verify your involvement. Second, they have nothing on you so do not give them any information besides your name and address. Third, call to make sure the warrant exists before you do anything rash. Fourth, did anyone sign for the gear that came to your address? Fifth, tell your friend not to say a single word because they would not be able prove anything unless anyone talks. Fifth, make sure everything in and around your property is clean of all gear and gear paraphernalia. Do not get scared and do not get nervous. It is your worst enemy. Finally, being arrested and being charged are two totally different things so it is not a big deal (if you really have a warrant). Fill us in with more info once you find out (but use a new username without any of your info on it). | ||

well my cousin talked with my dad, he is a Capt with the local sheriffs dept....apparently the individual who is arrested took delivery of the package...even after he knew it was siezed on monday by FDA. also i have had friends have called me telling me its on the front page of the local paper and that another warrant is outstanding but the ondividual is currently out of state(ME). how much was in the two boxes? well from the newspaper article my boy read me...1400 dosages of assorted pills and injectables. of course its less than $1000 but in the USA its worth alot more. luckily its a state charge and not federal. i have a feeling the guy busted was singing like a canary. my lawyer has said stay out of town till monday so i dont have to spend the week end in jail and he will arrange for me to be turned in with the DA. but apparently i will probably be charged twice...one box in GA and one in Florida. dont know if i will be convicted, but the damage and embarrassment to my family is already done...and that is what hurts the most! dawg | ||

Good Luck Bro, I'm so proud to be an American, where they can bust you and put you in Jail for trying to better your body. Make sure you delete any gear related emails in your computer. They will most definitely seize your computer. ------------------ | ||

actually superstar i did live in jeddah for 2 years.....wish now i was back there!!! hell i wish alot of things...especially those boxes being sent!!! oh well there went 2 years of hard work in saudi down the drain to pay for my lawyer!!!! shaw wish me luck, if i dissappear for w while ill try to get online in the CAN!!! |
