Todays ESPN sportscenter has a segment concerning athletes and steroids, particularly baseball players. They were saying how some ball players play winter ball in a mexican league and get all juiced up over the winter while living in Mexico. They also took a TV camera into some of the pharmacies and interviewed some of the people working there. The shelves were lined with everything and they were literally handing it over for next to nothing. It was like a dream come true. No wonder everyone wants to go to Mexico. The last portion they interviewed a border patrol cop. He said that people walking over the border have almost no chance of getting caught. They search around 20 people out of like 30,000 people that cross each day. Try to catch sportscenter today. Very interesting!

I saw the same series, why does ESPN have to bust our balls like that. We don't need that attention.

quote: DUDE DONT WORRY. As I have been stating, the whole "Steroid Scare" thing is long since dead. People do NOT care about drugs like say in the mid-80's & for that reason, the powers that be will not bother with them anymore than they allready have. I thought it was funny that ESPN referred to TJ as being the "illegal black market steroid" mecca or something. ILLEGAL???? Since when???? I guess they are too busy trying to make their story more controversial to actually realize what country they were in. The shit IS LEGAL in MEXICO, so how is that a black market?? Also, I liked the thing about the veterinary gear being "the most powerfull steroids in the world" WOOOOOOooooooo, that'll juice up the story I'll bet eh boys?? I'm telling you, noone cares anymore about steroids. The controversy has been dead for years!

Dude, it's all about ratings bro. Like mentioned above, I don't think AS is as feared as before. Probably since it's so widespread now. Problem is, that makes for a good "breaking story"

roidog, why'd you have to call him out like that? What did he ever do to you? This board is not for trying to embarras people or call them out, it's for intelligent discussion about gear and that's all. ------------------
