Several things I like about you:

1. You are a really decent person, one I would like to meet in person.

2. You are very knowledgeable and genuinely and regularly contribute to this fine board.

3. You have experience in life - serious experience.

4. You have the courage to stand up and say "Yes, I deleted it for this reason."

I believe in deleting inappropriate posts -- not entire threads where good people have put their time and energy posting to (and some are heated posts and not seriously meant at the time, some are just plain inappropriate --- it happens).

And thank you for your support as a mod, by the way.

The count to date is 17 mods. If this board can't keep up with that many mods, then you should first start getting rid of the non-posters.

But I do agree, Dexter would make a good mod.

While the two previous threads gratuitiously disappeared (one started by Hacker), this one has stayed alive.

And to the mods, vets, and good bro friends who have supported me, I wish once again to express my thanks.

My main regret is that there are those who posted on the two previous "DEX for Mod" threads, putting their time and energy into participating, only to have their remarks vaporized. This was wrong.

While it is gratifying to see this thread still alive, and the prospects of a welcomed x-mas present, I must say this, in my typically forthright Dex manner:

The response from the mods who work directly or indirectly for Elite Fitness, or from Mr. Spellwin himself (who is obviously a busy man or may have had some extenuating circumstances to deal with lately) have been disappointing.

No, they have been non-existent. The supportive mods have been the ones who really participate and with whom I enjoy communicating.

And speaking of communicating, I would like to apologize to E2 for any disparaging remarks, directly or indirectly, I have made in the past. His email to me was very gentlemanly and first-rate. And I need to reply.

Frakal, you have email.

Dear George, I would appreciate an email from you, as your time permits. If the answer is "yes," EF will have my loyalty and time. Ranger and others understand this.

If "no," I think I will respectfully excuse myself from any further participation, as it will be a humiliation, given the obvious time and energy good mods, vets, and other good bro's have put into supporting me as a mod.

For such a young guy, HUCK is indeed a walking library whom I would vote (voting permitted, of course) in a second. I've enjoyed numerous serious discussions with HUCK. He is one fine bro, that's for sure.

My issue was one of time zones -- and, I'll add now -- international participation. English speaking, not to denegrate the spanish board.

Why not a mod from Australia? Why not? I know great bro's from Down Under (love those "G'day Mate"s).

Why not from Africa? Roughly the same time zone. And while I don't know any bros from the central African area, I know some good bro's and serious players in South Africa that could leave the contributions of some mods on this board eating "trail dust."

Only it almost 07:00 in the morning and I'm still half-asleep (and can't sleep) because freaking Bratva called me enthusiastically on his mobile, telling me about his post!

Must be nice to be 24, a millionaire, own three apartments and a country home, and have high-class whores all around every day and night.

I think the world of Dexter and he has become kind of an older brother both to me and for me.

Im sorry for your loss with your girlfriend. And for some reason I still can't get the death of your good bro out of my head. That was the first thing I thought of when you spoke of your lady friend. I think about how crappy I have it in life, and all I have are my brains(which isn't much) and my weights. During this time of year things are difficult for me, no special reason, they just are, and I remind myself of two things I have read here. 1)The loss of your good friend. And 2)One of the board members has a saying, "There is pain worse than yours."

During this holiday season, remember your fallen brothers and sisters and take stock of what you do have to live for. Dexter, you have helped me focus on what is important without even knowing it. Its the relationships in one's life! Thank you.
