relating to many posts i have read about sleep being so important; i can never get a good night sleep, i always wake up like 3-4 time during the night to piss, and i can only get about 6-7 hours tops because i get so hungary my body wont let me sleep. and i eat alot before bed too. andi read about you guys getting over 10 hours sleep wtf? yall are lucky, i even recall some one saying they get 13hrs each night.i know there are many of you with fast metabolisms like me, so give me some advice please, im sick and tired of not getting enough sleep. i also take one nap during the day for about an hour, i would be longer, but again, i either have to piss, or get hungry and must eat. also relating to sleep, when you are currently "ON" and you wake up say around 7-8am and you are starving, but you could probably get atleast a couple more hours, what should you do, go back to bed and let your body go hungry, or feed you body. and eating and then going to bed is not an option for me, i just cant keep my eyes closed after a meal my docter told my that it is because im taking multi-vitamins, wtf? some advice will be appreciated thanks | ||

try melatonin or valerian root. natural herbs to calm the nerves. no caffeine or anything stressful six hours before bedtime. ------------------ | ||

E2, I find myself having unbelievable sleeping problems on bulking cycles, not to mention, when I do fall asleep I wake up 5 or 6 times a night. Nitequill has helped me, but I still wake up and go straight to the fridge. . .If I really can't sleep I just sit down turn on the TV and eat, and eat, and eat. . .Towards the end of a cycle the insomnia gets better and once I stop I am back to being able to sleep 8 hours. I've tried the natural sups to help, nothings worked and I don't really want to get hooked on sleep aids so I do the occasional cold meds (nitequill). Any suggestions appreciated. ------------------ | ||

i guess i am very unusual. i too have to get up and piss during the night but only 2 to 3 at the most. and that doesn't bother me (it is kind of like i sleep walk to the bathroom, and go right back to bed and instantly go to sleep) i found that drinking 44 oz. of water and about 24 oz. of milk before i go to bed relaxes me and helps me sleep. i guess i have a fuckin huge bladder because most of my friends would bust during the night with that much liquid before they go to sleep. | ||

Plan ahead! Have a shake or other favorite bulking food on your bedside table ready to eat without getting out of bed. I also take a large empty coke bottle to bed and just roll over and pee into it when I need to. Both these things disrupt my sleep less than having to get out of bed, turn on lights and walk around to take a pee and prepare food. | ||

i've been using the GNC SLEEP FORMULA. i feel it works better than MELATONIN alone. It's my sure way to a good nights rest and a good morning. It also contains 5-htp which helps increase the seratonin levels of the brain. Try it, and im sure you will like it. It's available at any GNC. take care | ||

take a xanax, tylenol pm, some ghb, milk before bed will relax you more-so, try not taking your afternoon nap, have a drink, just try something till you find out waht works for you!!! maybe your body is getting enuff sleep. ------------------ | ||

I would take the advise of using a sleep aid. I use night time cold medicine every night to go to sleep. I get anywhere from 9 to about 13 hours of sleep everynight and that is with a 1 hour nap during the day. Get a good nights sleep and wake up without a stuffy nose!!! | ||

thanks for all the replies, i usually have tblsps of glutamine and cups of protien shakes ready to be drank when i wake up to take the nightly pisses. im going to try some valerian root, to see if that works. roid ranger- you may be right i might be getting enough sleep, cause im never really that tired in the day, i dunno, ever since ive been young i was an early riser. sux. relating to my question, why do you guys wake up when you do? is it because your not tired anymore? or is it that your too hungry to sleep? thanks again | ||

This probably isn't good advice, but myself I've been taking Sominex Maximum strength sleeping pills for almost 8 months now. The key is to take them just before you eat. Guaranteed, 30 minutes after you eat you will crash and sleep like a freaking log. Works for me anyways. And yeah, in the morning I piss like a goddamned water spout. It's almost entertaining. | ||

I'm on a bulking cycle now and I have a lot of trouble getting good sleep....I'd say I average about 7 hours a day. | ||

Well melatonin has always worked wonders for me, but i too get up at least 3 times a night, to pee etc.... i just got used to it. | ||

Wow. I'm so glad to see this post. I thought I was the only one who has trouble sleeping on bulking cycles. My philosophy has been to listen to my body. If I get sleepy, I sleep. If I wake up because I'm hungry, I eat. Just lying in bed with your eyes open and your stomach gnawing seems like a waste to me. On my last bulking cycle, some nights I didn't get more than 2-3 hours of sleep, but I still managed to gain 35 lbs. Best of luck. | ||
