is it ok to mix maltodextrin with whey to make an mrp/gainer?
what does it taste of?
how amny cals per 100g of maltodextrin?

You can add it for a bulk drink, but it is not a mrp. Meal replacements contain other essential things (vitamins, minerals etc)
Not sure of the exact calories, I'll check when I get home.

An MRP is basically protein, maltodextrin, vitamins and minerals, and some kind of flavoring. You can make your own by mixing some protein together with the malto. The maltodextrin from Protein Factory has 93.8g carbs of carbs per 100g of malto, so you'll get about 375 calories per 100 grams.

As for taste, it is a very very faint sweetness. If it is unflavored, you probably won't even taste it. I've mixed it in a lot of things, and it just makes the liquid (milk, juice, etc) a lot "smoother" by thickening it up.
