Anyone know if this is gear related? I've been off for a month. The doc thinks it's just muscle stress because their not too high. Tested about "500". She wants me to stop working out for two weeks and get tested again to see if she is right.

My hemogloben and humaticrit levels were a little hight too. Not much but thats why she tested for more things and found my muscle enymes were high.

Chemists, mods, vets? Anybody got any info?

Im not a doctor...but I slept at a Holiday Inn Express once.

I rally cant help you out, but I will say this. I do work at an Emergency Room and a big boy came in with possible heart problems.

Basicly he did a little too much coke and his heart was flipping out. Nothing too serious. Anyway, the doc had the routine test of running his cardiac enzymes to see if there was any heart damage. Im not too familiar with the actual test but they didnt find anything wrong with his heart

However, they did find elevated levels of enzymes released from broken down muscle. Somehow he could tell it wasnt from his heart. the doc wrote the muscle breakdown off as him being a big freak and a bodybuilder.

As far as the Hemoglobin and hemocrit levels; all that shows is your red blood cell concentration in relation to the rest of your blood(ie serum). People can have high hemocrit levels from being dehydrated. Youre probably not, so you probably have an increase in RBC production. Which, from what I understand, AS will do to you. This would also explain the increased levels of hemoglobin levels.

I hope this helps, if Im wrong, someone please correct me.

Good luck, if it was me, I would still hit the weights.

Take it easy.

The enzyme is most likely creatine kinase, which is liberated into the blood when muscle cells are damaged. This enzyme is elevated above the norm in people who exercise and can be differentiated from the levels seen in a myocardial infarct, normally.
