Scientists have created a new slimming tablet which helps break down the body's fat stores. The key to the new drug is the discovery that body fat is surrounded by a protein called perilipin.The scientists bred mice with the protein stripped out of their genetic make-up & found they could then eat as much as they liked without putting on (fat)weight,& the human body has the same protein. The researchers,based at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas,believe the discovery of perilipin could be a major breakthrough in the battle against obesity. Perilipin coats the surface of fat storage droplets inside the body's cells to stop them being broken down. In perilipin-free mice,fat was broken down as soon as it was made.Professor Lawrence Chan,who led the research,said;"For perilipin-free mice,fat storage is a losing battle". These mice had eight per cent more muscle than normal mice & only half as much body fat-despite consuming twenty five per cent more food.And while both groups of mice had the same number of fat cells,the untreated mice were twice as fat. Hmm!Interesting at the moment i suppose if you're a bloody mouse hitting a most muscular shot,but all the same,these are interesting times for all of us bodybuilders to be in don't you think?    | ||

Cock is right, is there actually a drug that can be taken to remove the protien coating on the fat cells, or is it just through genetic engeniering? Anyway, it seems most of us would be very interested. And fuck the FDA, they will take like 20 years to aprove it, so we will just have to get it the hard way. | ||

Heh heh guy living in canada has it's benefits, we're allowed to personally import any experimental drug for personal use at our own risk, even if it's not been approved yet.
