I hesitate to throw my used syringes out with the trash. Can someone tell me a responsible method to dispose of them? Much thanks.

Well, how do you like the answers so far? Either get a "sharps" disposal kit at the drug store, or take them to the needle exchange program in your community. These places are for the junkies so they don't spread aids, but will give you new syringes in exchange for the used - no questions asked, no names required. If ya got the nuts. | ||

This has been posted a few times before- seems that a popular method of disposal is to put all the syringes in an empty 2 or 5lb. tub of protein, tape the lid shut, and then dispose of the entire container. | ||

i roll them in tin foil and throw them in my trash and dump it in the dumpster | ||

Come on guys, we don't want some little kids to come across them....I always take a coffee can put them in there and go get a bag of concrete, mix it up fill up the can and throw it in a river..At least that way i know that they will not stick anyone and no kids will get ahold of them....And it only cost about 4$ and takes about 10 mins...Fooz | ||

i burn mine get the coals hot enough they will melt. I took a 300 gal oil tank cut it in half and made a great fire pit. once a month i burn things. Also works great for a pig roast. ------------------  | ||

Just take em a part and place in a coke can. Crush the can and take it to the local gas station and toss it. The trash get dumped once a day. .. |
