I go to the gym yesterday to do legs, head over to the leg press's and one of them has 10 45's loaded on each side. On a good day i'll go that heavy(with knee wraps) and do about 8-10reps i'm 5-11 235. anyway i'm looking around for some big mother f-er and here is this old cat looks like george burns with grecian formula in his hair, gets on there and does these like1 inch leg presses pushing on his knees and then gets up and starts lookin around like"thats right im a bad mother f-er" WHAT THE FUCK,GO DOWN TO THE YMCA READ THE PAPER AND SIT IN THE STEAM ROOM! where do these dudes come from?

I agree, that shit pisses me off.
My training partner likes to tell people that he can squat just as much as me. He does'nt tell them that I go ass to the floor with a 4 second negative. He does not even go close to parallel!!!!. I'd like to see him go for a deep one with half the weight I use!!!!
I let him get away with it cuz I know he'd quit on me if I did not allow him that statement so I just have to smile and eat it!
I hate people who make claims based on bullshit form, just venting I guess.
When we are in a club the truth comes out (if you know what I mean)

I know it isn't the best for the back, but I bring my knee's all the way down to my shoulders. In my opinion form is far more impressive than weight. I see most everyone in my gym doing leg presses like you described. They hardly even flex thier knees and end up pushing the weight about a quarter inch, yet they still insist on loading plate after plate on the sled. How about they actually activate and stimulate the entire muscle and work through a full range of motion. Of course they don't because all that weight would crush them because they would suddenly relize that they can't actually push that much weigh.
