Moderately heavy cycle:

20 calories per pound
40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein

This is a good start.

This is just a rough estimate so don't take it a scripture.

220lbs/male
4500 calories
560g Carbs (2240cal)
330g Protein (1320cal)
100g Fat (900cal)

That is just a starting point. You will need to determine what your body will need but you need somewhere to start. Many factors will determine what it takes to make you grow(training, rest, metabolism). If you are gaining too much fat then appearantly you ae consuming too many total calories. If you arn't gaining then you will need to add calories in to your diet. It will take some experimentation and manipulation on your part, but you should be able to hone in on an effective diet for yourself.

The bigest risk in life is not taking one at all.
