I think I have done something to the tendons in my wrists. I was doing wrist curls a few weeks ago and the next day my arms really hurt (along the back from the elbow to the mid arm). Anyway, it went away.

Then the following weeks, any time I stressed the arm (bicep exercies) it really hurt. Anyway it's been getting worse. I was trying to do a preacher curl the other day and it was agony. I could'nt even hold the phone to my ear after.

I think I'll lay of the bicep exercises for a while..

Anyone else had this or give me advice?

Sounds like you may have strained the tendons.
I would ease up a bit with any exercise that puts a lot of stress on the area for a bit. You could also use some type of wrist support
or wrap until your 100% again.

I have never had it happen to me so these are just suggestions bro. If it's real bad you could go see a physical therapist. They can give you certain excercises to strengthen the area without causing more damage.

I know the feeling bro, I have a real bad tendon
injury in my left arm, it is particularly noticeable
on front press, also have a very painful left wrist,
caused by my right strap breaking when I was doing
shrugs with 300k on the bar, all that worked for me
is dropping the weight and increasing the reps, for a month
on the exercises that aggrevate the injuries.
At least you are still training even if it is'nt with the weight
you want to be using.

I have a tendonitis in my right forearm. I got it as a result of overuse (digging trenches, don't ask) 2 years ago. Anyway, went to the doc, got some anti-inflamatories, wore a brace for a bit, trying each day to wear it a little less. Within 2 weeks injury was all healed and haven't had a problem since......until now.

Because of all the time on the computer combined with the fact that I have been training pretty heavily - BAM! major flair up.

I asked a guy at my gym (pretty knowledgeable about nutrition) if there were any supplements I could take to help. (I actually don't have the time to get to the doc's right now for anti-inflamatories and I can't afford to lay off training as I am two weeks out from a shoot.) He advised me to ice it (doc's advise too), up my Vitamin E (800IU p/day) and EFA's (admittedly I have neglected). Made a MAJOR DIFFERENCE!

Hope this helps!
