..For a search warrant. I was wondering this because someone I know at the gym that is a police officer said that other officers were asking about me. He said that they knew I was on. Kind of paranoid now and was wondering if they needed any evidence or proof besides hearsay to get a search warrant...     | ||

Speculatation that you may be a consumer of anabolic androgenic steroids isn't enough to convince any magistrate in the world, assuming their sane, to issue a search warrant and circumvent your 4th amendment rights. The police would have to specifically indicate that you were suspected as a dealer and would have to illustrate specifically where within the home they would conduct their search to unveil contraband.

those guys must be real assholes if they care about some big dude walking around "their" gym, poor baby's!!!!! All of these guys bring up good points, but the fact still is, cops can fuck with you whether they have legitimate reason to or not. Trust me, they'll come up with shit, and there's not a damn thing you can do to prove them wrong. They'll say that they observed you making a "possible" deal or some other BS like that. Be very careful dude, switch gyms if at all possible, if not, don't talk about gear in that gym, even with one of your best buds, you never know what can be overheard. | ||

Don't really have an option to switch gyms. It's the only good gym in the area. Another point is that my girlfriend is also involved. She does some heavy weights in the gym and as BPB pointed out their egos may be hurt. And of course the dark cloud that women AS use is put under... | ||

D, If one of em ever comes up and asks if you can hook him up with juice, it's not them warming up to juicing, it's you getting set up. Happened to someone I know, thought he was getting good customers, they just ended up busting him and taking his shit. Funny how he was only charged with about 1/3 of what they actually confiscated from him. | ||

From now on, you don't use. As far as everybody else is concerned its all Muscletech products. They can't get you for anything juice related unless you give it too them now(in a situation like Bigphysics brought up). There's about 15 cops that lift at my gym, and a couple of them are pricks that are jealous of my lifting progress and I hear shit from my bros like you're talking about. Fuck 'em. Just never carry anything in your car because they dont need any evidence to search it(realistically). ------------------ | ||

Probable Cause to search: Enough credible information to provide a fair probability that the object the officers seek will be found at the place they want to search. They cant search your car without either, your CONSENT or a SEARCH WARRANT. The Supreme Court has ruled that your vehicle is an extention of your home, therefore all the rights that you have in your home you have in your vehicle......... Or so is the case in NM.......... "B" | ||

*B* Cops can search your car no matter what. Yeah, on paper, and in the court they cannot. But in the gym parking lot if they don't like you- there suddenly appears what they believed to be paraphernalia in "plain view" on your front seat. well probable cause in a fuckin cops eyes is whenever they fuckin want and where they want, man switch gyms, that is the best thing to do, cause the more they see you the more its gonna piss them off, you must live in a small town where they can pull shit like that......the best bet is to hide the gear exceptionally clever since the dogs cant smell it, then get rid of any pins or any paraphanelia, cause it sounds like they are gonna try to do something, I dont mean to paranoy you but bro if you live in a small town it is more recognition and attention if they roust you out, but #1 you should move to a new gym, because its not good for you or your girl to be around the jerks. Thanks for the input guys. Just got a little nervous when I heard that there was this much talk about us around the gym. Especially around the cops there. My girlfriend and I are to ourselves a bit and try to focus at the gym and not socialize much. I think alot of people take that as acting "too good" for the rest of them. I wish I had more good gyms in the area but there's really not to much here to choose from. And before today I didn't know anyone had a problem with us so... | ||

The bro said there's no other good gyms around, so dude, I suggest you invest in a home gym, you'll probably get better workouts anyway. You and your girl should split one, shouldn't be too expensive that way. I just picked up a powerhouse cage that came with a non attached bench that does any angle, even decline. Can't beat that for 199.99, and a 300 pound olympic set only ran me $99, yeah I've still got to pick up some more plates and dumbells, but within 2 months I shouldn't need to go to my gym except for leg presses and to swim laps. | ||

all the cops really need is word of mouth. if a narcotics agent goes to a judge saying that your under suspission for roids then yes, he will be given a search warrant. i've had this happen already cause of some asshole calling the drug hotline on me. All a cop has to do is tell the judge that your under suspision and he will be given a search warrant. If they had any physical evidence they would just arrest you then search...not the other way around. My guess would be that they're after your ass now so I would be very careful. | ||

BPB..Wish I could get a home gym but that would involve buying a home also. I rent an apartment so there's really no room to put a gym in anywhere. Anyway I'm not too worried anymore now that you guys calmed me down  I'm really not concerned on what people at my gym think about me too much. Just don't want to go to jail over something so petty... |
