Guys - For those of you who HAVE tried prohormones and found that they it DID NOT work.............. 1) What prohormone did you take and what was the dosage ? 2) Approximately what was your caloric intake ? Thanks.     | ||

1. I have taken prohormones from various companies,sometimes i doubled the dosage. 2.My calorie intake would of been around the 5000 a day mark. 3.They are crap & endorsed by guys jacked up to their eye balls with juice who take their pay cheques from the supp' companies,& go & get themselves a truck-load of drugs & juice. 4.The money it costs for a months "stack" from one of these companies would keep you in juice for 8wks or more(if you have a cheap source like er,um hee,hee), 5.Seriously,if you're thinking of buying ph,save your money,If you can't/won't buy juice,then get a good protein powder,creatine,glutamine & a good multi vitamin-mineral pack.Just my opinion. | ||

ive take andro in both capsule form and pinnacle poppers... Both were crap. At the time i thought I was being hardcore taking "andro" and that the shit was just a notch below steroids (man was I wrong). For that reason i ate about 4000 calories a day while on it, any gains I saw were from eating more and NOT the andro. Not only that but the shit cost me an arm and a leg. E | ||

Scotty, how many more posts are you going to pen regarding these worthless prohormones? Are you just not getting it? Are you blinded by the marketing or the placebo effect? I mean, what is it man? Prohormones are fucking worthless, so why are you so obsessed with them? Get yourself some real gear and start growing and stop playing around with baby food. | ||

Guys - I'm just wondering if you didn't do a high enough dosage. Using Norabol(19-Nor), I topped out at 1000mg (1st cycle) and then 1800mg (2nd cycle). Using Andro-Infusion(4- and 5-Andro), I topped out at 7000mg.
My strength went WAY up, as well as my body weight (about 15 lbs. each cycle). How could the placebo effect do this ??? Thanks. | ||

Bro, I am in the UK, I have used a prohormone called 19-Nor 250mg tabs, the ingredients are :- 19-nor-4-androstenediol 19-nor-4-androstenedione I was natural at the time, and they did make a bit of difference, there was no noticeble weight gain but, i had a better sense of well being and my strength increased by a very small percentage. They cost to much by far, and unless i was getting them for free from my sponsor, i would not consider purchasing any ever again, gear is far cheaper and far better. Scotty, how much did that set you back?? And also, did you experience any sides like you would with AS? Zits, shrunken nuts, etc. ? I'm very curious.....also, I read ad in last month's Flex that claims a company is working on a new prohormone that converts in your stomach to true 100% testosterone. They supplied a phone number and I've yet to get through to a human there. As soon as I do and get more info I'll post it. If this shit works like it's supposed to, we could all be looking at injection-less testosterone otc...that would be sweeet!! In the ad they explain that this chemical process actually produces genuine test chemical structure, unlike the other pro-hormones where it is one-off. Anyways.....did anyone else see this ad?? | ||

Bro- I was just like you 2 months ago, trying to get some truth behind prohormones. Everyone on here told me they were no good but I thought I would try something new. I took Paradeca made by vpx and I gotta tell you its not worth the money. I'll tell you what you should listen to and what everyone told me stick with what works-AS | ||

Wfab, i read an article about the same stuff in pump a couple months ago...i did get through to people though. The product is probably going to be called "testabol" anyway all info on it has been closed until january at least. If any of you guy are interested i can post the number to call fo info. | ||

Everyone - I UNDERSTAND that 99% of you do NOT have a high opinion of prohormones. However, only 1 person has mentioned his dosage and caloric intake, and his dosage was WAY too low to do any good. Everyone else has just ragged on prohormones. Also, no one has explained why I have gained 15 lbs. on each cycle, along with tremendous strength gains. Bear in mind that I am 6'0", 215 right now, so am probably not NEARLY as massive as any of you, and am doubtful that I ever will be. I have never injected AS. I won't buy into the "placebo effect" thing, unless someone can thoroughly convice me. Your prohormone dosages and caloric intake would be greatly appreciated, and this might also help me understand the position you guys have taken. | ||

Scotty, I'm not doubting you or anything, just curious if you experienced any side effects and wondered how much money you spent on those prohormones. For you to have received gains like that, the prohormones/precursors you took must have provided an anabolic effect. | ||

honestly scotty, i would prolly have to attribute 96% of your gains to your increase in caloric intake...not to pro-hormones. There is of course the rare person that easily converts andro to testosterone but that is fairly rare wfab, about thetesabol...the FDA always bans the good stuff E | ||

1st prohormone cycle was about 32.00/100 caps of 19-norandrostenediol. 18.00/60 caps or 4-androstenediol. Was on for 3 months. Started at 3 caps/day and peaked at 10 caps/day. 4-andro was a lot lower, maybe peaking at 5 caps/day. Not cheap, but I felt my gains were worth it. 2nd cycle was strictly Norabol and Andro-Infusion from Elite Fitness. I ordered Recomposition Phases 1 & 2 for 220.00. Again, started at 3 caps/day of the Norabol, and I peaked at 18 caps/day. That is A LOT higher than the recommended dosage. This order lasts for 3 months, but protein powder, chrysin, trib, ECA stack, and flax seed are also included for this price. No side effects (gyno, or other) was experienced. | ||

Im not saying andro is any good, but when I was natural I took them. At one time I was taking about 10 a day for a while and I did bulk up a little, I would even say I got a pump like the one I get on AS, but to a lesser degree, plus I felt my sex drive die after usage. They are not worth taking. | ||

I don't care if you like prohormones or not. If you take 3-4 sublingual tabs of cycloroid by sportsone before a workout, your going to feel it!! I like the stuff alot, who knows, it may just be the thermogenics in it and not the prohormones, but that's just how I feel. ------------------ | ||

Man....that's alot of money to spend on prohormones. But hey, everybody's got to do what works for them. I would spend good money on a prohormone if it really worked. As good as AS is, there are certainly draw backs, most of them legal. Scotty, not to play devil's advocate or anything, but check out New Hope Med. I think their website is www.newhopemed.com or something like that. You should find it interesting......even though consultation fees are high, some of the legal drawbacks are gone. | ||

if you are concerned about side effects, then why not go on a equipoise only cycle? i gained 17lbs and 1.5 inches on my arms on a four month cycle, it WAS my first cycle so i had to tell myself to go home, i just wanted to stay in front of the mirror and pump. |
