I'm getting ready to begin my next bulking cycle on the 15th, have all the gear and I'm pumped to go...but tonight in the gym, a nagging shoulder pain came back while benching, wasn't even heavy weight, only 245. I hurt it benching about 3 months ago doing 315. I got a sharp pain deep in my shoulder, seems right where the ball and socket is (sorry for lack of technicality). I took it easy for about 3 weeks and it was occasionally sore when doing any hard pushing lifts or any kind that involve shoulder raises. I ice it and my partner told me to stick two fingers deep in the shoulder and give it a good rubbing, something about scar tissue...sounds like bs, but makes it feel better for about an hour. Anyway, I don't have insurance that would cover a visit like this, in addition it would be like 4 weeks before I could get seen, so no doctor for me. My question is, has anyone experienced anything similiar? I've heard shoulder injuries never go away. Should I continue with the cycle...the deca will lube the ol' joints up nicely I figure and dull that pain I don't wanna end it hurting it badly though. Any advice?

Bro,

Be on the safe side and go see your ortho, if it is a tendon or the rotator cuff he'll get you an MRI and diagnos why. Remember to stretch, but before you hit a cycle and pile weight on a possibly damaged joint make certain its not. . .the doctor for you.
