First of all let me say that I've never used them but have been reading everything on these boards for the past few months.Let me say thanks to all the educated people here I have learned A LOT! Now on with the rant.I just read an old post of how steroids became illegal and it stated that it was mainly for "psychological addiction" and use amongst athletes and young people. Now it is true that an uneducated person who extremely abuses the juice can cause some serious problems, but i dont see how this is any different from other LEGAL substances out there. Why not ban nicotine? It causes definite psychological AND physical dependence. Its use among the young and the old causes very serious problems.I would say that taking up smoking is far more dangerous than using steroids. With steroids people achive peak physical ability (with diet and training of course),and there are no serious life thereatening risks for those who are aware of what they are doing. So why are steroids looked upon so negatively?.I am a person that belives one should be consistant. If you ban one thing for insignifigant reasons but allow other much more harmful substances to be freely sold then i believe that there is something mentally wrong with the people running this land.(I actually am a firm believer in legalizing many things but i think you understand what im trying to say)Let me finish with saying that I love this country but some things are really making me scratch my head and ask "Who the hell is running this place?" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Unfortunately in this Grand Country of ours, which I dearly love!!! The press decides through their voice which action our Government takes...case in point..GHB, steroids, and tomorrow if I said smoking horseshit will get ya fucked up....they'd shoot the horses...I say this with due respect, BUT, the average steroid user who has done their research, knows as much as most doctors.... I'll bite. Big Tobacco is one of the top if not the top loby in the country. (along with AARP and NRA) Big Tobacco funnels so much money into greasing politcians (oh yes...it happens in the good old US of A)that tobacco will never become illegal. If AS had a strong lobby and a gaggle of supporters as large as those who thrive on tobacco then we too would be allowed our drug of choice. But...since our ranks are so small we have no influence politically. The only hope for steriods is through educating the public. I think that it would be a long uphill battle, that most of us arn't willing to fight since we can readly get our gear without the struggle, that we choose not to fight it. Legal steroids? I'd like to see it...but doubt it will happen anytime soon. Vote SHOWTIME for pres. and I'll see what I can do. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
