I sent off a "package", wink wink, to Brazil on the 28th of november via international express, when I check the tracking information, all I get was that the package left the united states on the 28th. I was under the impression that, for $18, it would get there in a couple of days. So far it seems the transit time is the same as global priority. This is my first time sending overseas though, does anyone have experience sending to Brazil, if so, how long did it take for your package to arrive?    | ||

I had a friend to used to live in brazil, and regular air mail would occasionally take 6-8 WEEKS to make it. Unless you use somebody like FedEX you're kinda at the mercy of their postal system. And at the holidays it'll just be worse.... | ||

I also sent the same type of package to brazil, you may know my friend Mr G, on the 24 and it still has not arrived to him yet. Hope all is well, i never had a problem before but it is the holiday season.  | ||

Actually, both the brothers are, in a way, stating that they are not dealers. Who the hell exports AS to Brazil? No flame intended. OK bro, now that you got that point, here is what I know about the delivery method you used. You CANNOT track the package once it leaves the country. The tracking number is only for "in country" as the P.O. puts it. That kind of makes you wonder why they give it to you in the first place eh? Also, the shipping method you used is not guaranteed to be 3-4 business days. That is a ballpark figure. The post office cant tell the speed of the Brazilian mail service. I would think you are looking at more like 5-7 business days, especially during this time of year. Email the dude and ask him if he received. Thats really the ONLY way you'll know if it got there. | ||

man, I'd hate to think how long it would have taken if I used global priority, than again, global priority would not ship to his location, hence probably the price difference. | ||

Funny...there must be some sort of trouble with Brazilian mail service. I sent mine using DHL...and paid $44 for the fricken service with a promise of 3-4 day delievery max. Well, guess what, its been 7 business days and it still hasn't been delivered to my friend. DHL promised me a refund once they finally deliver it. Good luck...but I wouldnt worry...it will get there...eventually |
