I have been wondering about these things since I began shooting shit. What type of damage can be done from long term use of inj. AS in terms of creating scar tissue, puncturing veins over and over and possibly hitting nerves ever now and again? Punctured veins will be able to seal themselves and recover, obviously. Hitting nerves has the possiblity of damaging or even paralyzing specific muscles. How would scar tissue build up affect your muscles and ability to perform correctly? Just curious about the consequences of long term injecting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Generally in hitting a nerve, the sensitivity threshold is so high that you will not have much time to damage it before you pull out. If you hit the sciatic nerve on a big jab somehow, and damage it, you could lose feeling in the lower extremities, or suffer various posterior pains. Scar tissue over time, inside the muscle, can be quite inhibitive to proper functioning and can cause damage to the connective tissues. Use smaller needles and make sure they are sharp. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dr.Juice is right, it will cause damage over time. As far as scar tissues over veins, what are you injecting, Coke? If you use the same area above the vein, you will cause extensive scaring and with heavy use, you will cause that piticular site to scar up completely to where you cant access it at all. You can even damage the vein and due to it being really late, I cant think of the correct spelling, but you can even cause the vein to Scrolose(sp) in which that piticular section of the vein basicly "cloggs" and becomes hard and nasty. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
