One thing I want you guy's to understand something....Some of us may not post much but I will tell you this for sure I answe at least 25 emails a day.....Some of us work and have families...ect....I just wanted to make this clear to some that just got on this board and are making statements that need to be investigated first! What's up hacker bro, how is it going??...I am not worried about beening removed from mod status if it happens I can not control it...The point I am making is that just cause one does not see another post much that does not mean another is not around. The mod status aside on the board does not stop there you know.....As I said it goes to emails and actually phone converstions.... this board is free. the MOD'S don't get paid and are not here for your personal crisis. they are here for info and in some case confirmation but are not your personal servants. this board is starting to turn into a not so fun place to be. maybe nobody is around because there tired of the whining? could you blame them? The reason we have so many mods is so when some are gone (like I was for a month or so) others will be there to pick up the slack. George will make the final decision so I have no real say in this matter. | ||

And to add to the post of 2thick,you see a lot of names but no all of them are here,some are only in the chat boards or others boards(jonnyO,myself,Bigmama,BigRickRock and others).So we only have a few full time mods here.And like Biz said we have family. ------------------ | ||

Well, BIZ, Im awake again, mainly because I can't sleep because of this (very serious, in my opinion) "Mod" situation. Some of us get 50-60 emails per day. FLEX, on Anabolex (he's been a mod for SEVEN years) as I understand it, gets up to 150 emails per day. A labor of love, obviously. Yes, it's absolutely true. Some of us have other lives than EF: Families, family obligations, jobs, etc. Not easy being a mod, that I know. but you've done a damned good job in my opinion. Dexter ------------------ | ||

Macrophage is probably on of the most intelligent people on this board. Matt is a great guy too (but he hangs on the chat board). BIG RICK ROCK is a good guy but also on the chat board. JonnyO and Bikinimom are on the chat boards a lot (and bikinimom is also on the women's board). | ||

I have to comment on what Biz said. Many people dont realize that the mods get alot of emails and do their best to answer them all. I get about 10-15 emails per week myself from various members myself so I completely understand myself. ------------------ | ||

Im with Kodiak here, Im not so sure what the issue with the mods is. Now of course this seems to happen about every couple of months or so, but why? I dont post much sometimes because I will open a thread on a subject I may be able to comment on and find that someone has beaten me to the punch. Why parrot what someone just said? I come to this board 2-3 times a day, and look to see that all is in order and that the rules are being followed for everyones safety. We are human, we have lives and we make mistakes, but rest assured I can speak for most when I say that the best interests of this board is what is important to us and the safety of the brotherhood. One more thing, I'm not addressing this to anybody in particular, but there do seem to be some folks in here who are either pretty ungrateful or who just don't know what the hell they are taking about in terms of some of the recent commentary about the mods. | ||

One must also look BEYOND the Anabolic Board. It's not the only board Elite offers. I post EVERY DAY, and so does Bmom. Just because you don't happen to read it does not mean it don't exist. To the few of you who happen to have lady friends/wives who are in the BBing sceen and come to the Women's board, you KNOW what I'm talking about. Could somebody please enlighten me? What does knowledge of A/S (not that that is not valuable information to possess around here) have to do w/ones ability to clear the board from all of the BOARD-CLUTTERING SHIT that gets posted SOOOOOOOOOOO DAMNED FEQUENTLY? Believe it or not, I get many emails a day myself. Unfortunately, I do not have the A/S expertise but I can and have and will continue to help out your wives, girlfriends, etc with MANY fitness related issues. I don't post much on the Anabolics Board because frankly, I don't have much to add. If I see a topic that I can intelligently discuss on this board...I do. But that doesn't mean that I haven't deleted MANY source posts and hacker-board clogging SHIT. Will you guys just chill already? ------------------ | ||

The way I see it you need a variety of Mods for all the different aspects of the board. I'm happy with the way it's going. I remember the restructuring when it happened and it was a good thing. All the Mods that post frequently on the Anabolic board have always been helpful and answered my E-mails. I'm sure a time will come for the board to grow again I'm just not sure if it's yet. |
