short answer: hovering around the 100 mark really isn't "horrible", but it is something to watch. If you juice regularly, you should be in the habit of having liver enzymes checked once every 3-6 months. How long was your last cycle and what were the dosages? Also, do a search in the archives for "My liver test came up a 71 and the Dr. said that the levels are measured from 0 to 42 ". I give a detailed explanation of liver function tests there. I just did a seach for: liver test 71 and found it no problem. Make sure you are searching the ARCHIVES not ACTIVE posts. I don't want to repost because you should read what other people had to say on that thread, too. I wouldn't have thought that 500mg/wk test and 300mg/wk deca would raise your levels that much, but everyone's different. How long have you been on? Do you drink? Do you or any family members have a history of liver disease? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Latona sounds more knowledgable on the topic than me, but it is my understanding that those values aren't very high for a cycle(a little high for just test though), but should return to normal at the end of your cycle unless you're slammin shots of JD or something. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

Are you taking any other meds? There are a ton of other meds that you would think would not be a big deal that can elevate your enzymes. Tetracycline and other anti-biotics that some take can triple you values as can Accutane, oral Nizoral, Cytadren, etc. and a boatload of other drugs. Just hope you take that into account as well. I would make it a point to know as much as possible about every drug you take even if the doctor prescribes it and doesn't mention any thing about liver toxicity. Many medications are just as bad or worse than oral steroids on the liver, but you won't hear about it because they don't have a negative stigma like gear does. Just a head's up. Take care. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Bump this one. Even Tylenol can cause mayhem with your liver. Believe it or not, it IS important to tell your doc EVERYTHING that you've been taking if you want a good idea of what your test results mean. Even some herbal supplements can throw out your liver enzymes, so there's no way of knowing why your's were high(ish) without detailed info. It is unlikely to be from the test or Deca. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It is VERY IMPORTANT to know what your liver enzymes normally read, before beginning a course of self-medicated anabolics. Note the transamines leak from damaged striated or smooth muscle tissue into the blood. This leakage can be caused by intensive athletic training. Therefore not only do the liver production of the enzymes contribute to the total reading, but the leakage by the muscles does as well. It is not uncommon for the non-anabolic using athlete to have high levels. Hence, you should know how much the transamines have been elevated exclusively from the anabolics more or less through subtraction. 100 is not incredibly high but if the numbers do not decrease several weeks after you stop anabolic use, then take one week off from training and try again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
