It would really depend on the market you were trying to capture. If you are looking to tap into the "mainstream" your name would do better if it had a scientific sounding name. That seems to be the trend. Going after us hardcore bros? It all comes down to quality and cost. They name just can't sound phoney. If the product is good, word of mouth will take care of your sales.
