OK bros, I did a stupid thing last night.
I got my frozen chicken breasts out of the freezer and they were stuck together, so i tried to split them with a knife and stabbed my hand. The cut was fairly small but very deep at the base of my middle finger and blood was pumping out very fast. I immediately washed, wrapped it up and compressed it until the bleeding stoped. It felt sore last night but it moved OK.

Anyway this morning I woke up and its stiffened up. I can't make a fist or straighten my hand. The problem is I was due to train back an bis tonight and was kinda hoping it'd get better throughout the day, but it hasn't. I guess I'm not gonna train back and bis tonight, I'll have to do my legs or even just calves if that is still too sore. Either way I'm gonna have to do it tommorow and wanted to know if any of you know any back or bicep excersises which don't need a strong grip to do.

I know there's not a lot and I won't be 100%, I just want some excersises I can do for maintenance. Thanks bros.

do some light cable curls.. u don't have to balance the weight, so u don't really have to have a realy tight grip like u would if u were using dumbbells.

this probably isn't the answer you're looking for, but you could try using straps for your back exercises. just a thought...

Spunky's suggestion is good...also consider a seated Hammer strength Preacher Curl machine....or equivalent....you don't necessarily have to grip tight to use these...Good luck

I've got straps so they should help a bit. I'll have to check the responses tomorrow bros, working hours are over, I'm outta here,
Thanks.

Hey bro, I know this isn't what you want to hear, but if the cut is really deep you should consider going to the doctor to get it checked out.
You may have partially cut a tendon or ligament and that is where your getting the limited movement. (hopefully not)
You wouldn't want that to heal the wrong way.

That's some funny shit! A few years back my wife did the same thing trying to separate hamburger patties. She called me up at work crying! At first I felt bad, but later I couldn't stop laughing my ass off!

I managed to train back and bis last night anyway. I tried the seated row and hammer strength row, couldn't do either so no chance with a barbell. Decided to improvise a bit. Our hammer pulldown machine has really high bars so I got my partner to pull them down and put my elbows on top. I was able to do a 1/2 pulldown, 1/2 row using my elbows to hold the bar. It hurt my elbows like f*ck but it hit my lats. Also had a go on the pullover machine (which I rarely ever use) and finished back with some 1 arm db rows (dumbells strapped up tight).
The only excercise I could manage for bis was cable. I did a couple on the cable preacher but it hurt my hand quite a bit and managed to get a further three sets with one arm cable curls sat on a bench. They were painful but a tollerable as I could raise the grip higher up my hand and bend the wrist to take the pressure off. All in all I got through it fairly well (I was very tempted not to go, so I'm glad I did.)
Anyway, woke up this morning and its not quite as sore with slightly more movement than yesterday. The tendon should heal ok as I can almost make a fist so it's not severed or anything too serious.

Thanks for the help bros.
