Kingpin, your levels are absolutely fine. You don't need to worry or change anything. A good level is considered to be a total of ldl and hdl below 220, so don't sweat. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Your LDL is high, and the guidelines for cholesterol are soon going to be made tougher (lower total, LDL and triglycerides, and higher HDL). Your HDLs are okay, not protective against heart disease, but better than a lot I've seen cited here. Buy some niacin tabs and some soy lethicin granules. Use niacin in mild (%500-800 RDA values) dosages and eat soy lethicin granules like popcorn. As you age, consider drug intervention. In the meantime, relax.
