That big jacked Mofo that trains like absolute shit. So damn sloppy and shitty form. You wanna say something but he is bigger than you. Damn I hate that . I guess genetics plays a big part of scenarios like this. Mike ------------------

Live and let live. Don't think about what he has. Think about what you have and he doesn't.

Yep, I see them once in a while in my gym, guys so damn shredded and huge very symmetrical looking, just botching workouts form/intensity all lacking. If thats what works for them, then fine - I know it wouldnt for me. It gives me motivation, I know I have to work harder so I do. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board)

Sometimes i use the old "cheat" method for a few extra pounds but the intensity is always there and i dont have the best genetics ------------------

The flip side is when scrawny trainers come up to you and start critiquing your form. Explosive repping with some bodythrust is good if you control the weight on the negative. I love to cheat up heavy dumbells on laterals, and then lower them on a four count.

Bros... I see no problem with cheating here and there, especially to break a plateau or if you are controlling the weight on the negative portion of the movement. The guy I am talking about squats 4 plates with about 4 inches of movement. Today he was doing hammer strength low rows pulling his chest completely off the pad rounding his back and yanking the weight. But,as I said he looks great and it works for him. The key to growing is changeing your routines. One day work with nice slow motion and concitrate on keeping the weights still. Another day on your last few reps cheat alittle to get that extra pull or push out of the muscles. |
