I understand Getting a certain amount of protien and loading up but how much Carbs? I think I have my diet ideas pretty well laid out but last time I definitely f*cked up my amount of carbs. I understand the "Eat everything" ideal. Although realistically I have a pretty demanding schedule. i.e. Kids, Girlfriend, Work, Friends, Family. If you guys could lay out a diet of five to six meals that you have used successfully I'd really appreciate it. You can E-mail it to me or post it right here. Appreciate the help Bro's. Oh yah, hope Twisted don't get offended at the use of Bro..lol

Thanks, I think....

Kinda looking for only one protien supplement a day. Wanna base my meals more on whole food. I was thinking of two cans of tuna a day. Two tubs of cottage cheese a day. Steak and potatoes. Some chicken. Oatmeal and ?????

Do appreciate the reply..

make sure u have 30 - 45 grams of protein an each meal and then fill the rest with whatever u want. just make sure u get a certain amount of calories in every day. just watch if u start getting fat. clean up your foods first, then if your still packin on just fat lower your calories a bit. keep doing this till u get it right.
good luck.

Carb sources are just as important as protein sources.

after a workout, simple carbs are the best.
during the day: brown rice, lentils, potatoes, any other rice, pasta (wheat preferably), fruits, cereals, oats, etc.

carbs are very important, they are the most neglected macro nutrient in "popular health" diets. for mass carbs should be way high. don't skimp.
