I hate having such a high metablolism and wonder what causes or why my body is different then anyone elses. what causes me to burn calories so fast or everything else. Basically i am saying what causes a high metablosim. i dont do cardio or anything take any type of fat burner eca. I would just like it to slow down and wondering if i am stuck with this for life or if it will slow down in the near future. I am 21. Please dont flame me just curious.

Don't bitch. It is a blessing in disguise. All you have to do to counter balance it is eat more. You are blessed with the ability to eat just about anything. Eat a lot. A fast metabolism is a gift for leanness. Use it to your advantage. Thoses with fast metabolisms must eat more, however the one odd thing I have noticed about people with a fast metabolism is that they lack an appeteite neccessary to counter balance it. Those with slow metabolism are the ones blessed with a ferocious appeteite. Unfortunately they don't end up using those calories so it gets stored....no good. Just eat bro.

As Beezers said above, it is a blessing. I have it as well. The good thing is I can eat macdonalds all day long as well as many other foods without gaining too much bodyfat. The problem is that when I bulk I have to eat around 6-7000 calories/day to get big. But, the food, I love it. You can slow it down by eating less frequently as this by itself slows it down. However eating fewer meals would mean not gorwing as much in terms of lean mass, so it would be conter productive

I aint bitchin guys I no I am blessed with the fact i can eat anything but it doesnt really matter when I cant put on any weight. Should i be training more or less frequent to say the average BB I train 5 days a week 1 bodypart a day! I try to consume around 5000 calories a day and sleep 8 hours a night. I know it takes time it just sucks ass watching the people eat have as much as me and grow twice as big. Thanks for the responses tho.

EAT THIS AND YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT

DON'T LET 10 MINUTES GO BY WITHOUT EATING AT LEAST 100 CALORIES, THAT'S VERY EASY TO DO, AN APPLE IS ABOUT 100 CALORIES.

EAT A MEAL EVERY 2 HOURS YOU ARE AWAKE THAT HAS AT LEAST 2000 CALORIES IN IT.

TODAY GO TO MCDONALDS AND GET 50 CHEESSBURGERS FOR 39 CENTS EACH,DON'T EAT FOOD THAT IS NOT CALORIE DENSE SUCH AS OATMEAL THAT WILL FILL YOU UP VERY QUICKLY YOU DON'T WANT THAT.

EAT ONE GALLON OF ICE CREAM WHEN YOU WATCHING TV EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK.

BUY 5 BIG NEWYORKERS FROM PIZZA HUT FOR 10 BUCKS EACH, THAT'S REAL CHEAP CALS. EAT AT LEAST ONE PER DAY.


DON'T EAT UNTILL YOU PUKE BECAUSE THAT WILL CAUSE YOU NOT TO EAT FOR MANY HOURS AND IT'S VERY PAINFULL, DON'T STUFF YOURSELF, JUST EAT UNTILL YOU GET FULL WAIT FIVE MINUTES AND HAVE SOME MORE.

BE EATING CONSTANTLY, YOU SHOULD ADOPT THE SEE FOOD DIET (ALL THE FOOD YOU SEE YOU EAT IT RIGHT THEN AN THERE).

DON'T FORGET TO EAT A DOZEN DONUTES PER DAY, THAT REAL CHEAP TOO.

AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO OUT EAT ANYONE YOU KNOW AND YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT ON AT LEAST 10 LBS IN ONE WEEK.

DO THIS AND YOU WILL GET BIG AND WIDE, IF YOU START GETTING REALLY FAT CUT OUT THE DONUTES AND CHOLCOLATE TRUFFLES.

You say you train 5 days a week. Maybe you are overtraining and that's why you're not growing. Take a break, then try working out 3 days a week. I used to work out like a bitch , usually 6 days a week. More is better, right? NOT TRUE! On a friend's advice I took a two week break from lifting (hard to do when you're so used to it) and upon returning I worked out 3 days a week. I gained more in the following months than I had in the past year.

ps : I wasn't on gear, and I don't know if you're on. If you are, then you can probably ignore my message as your recovery rate is higher than for a normal person.
