Ok heres the scoop my friends... This is week 4, final day of a fina cycle to cap off and to solidify gains and lean down a bit without losing muscle. Well on Fri. Like any other i got back from the gym that morning and proceded to fill the syringe with 1 cc of Fina. Once full I then carefully ever so slowly (as usual) slid the pin into my quad... Yes Of Course i Aspirated !!! There was no blood so i proceded... The oil went in just fine but as i finnished and pulled the pin from my leg i suddenly tasted something very chemically... Never had that happen before, but no big deal... I thought, Well suddenly i lost my breath and began to cough uncontrollable for about 10 - 15 min... nonstop! My heart rate sky rocketed for about 30 min then finnaly went back to normal... Anyone else have this happen ? Chemical taste, Coughing, Rapid Heart rate???... Scared the shit out of me! Never happend prior and ive had quite a few injections in the past and nothing even compared to that! Even though i aspirated is it possible to shoot it into a vein...? Something was certainly not right!!!!     | ||

I've never used fina before, but if im not mistaken I have read posts where other people have had this happen......... | ||

Sounds like you hit a vein! I'm paranoid, but I've always worried that once I start pushing down on the plunger the needle will go in a little further and puncture a vein. This has to be a possibility. I try to keep the needle as stationary as possible, but sometimes its hard to do. Maybe this is what happened to you. | ||

Monster, the trick is to push the needle in AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. That's one of the reasons i use a short needle. Wen you push it in that way and pull back you can be very sure not being in a vein. You push it in and when you are at the end, a little further with all the possibility you have to do so. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||

Last week I injected .5 ml of TBA into a vein because I didn't aspirate, it hurt like a bitch no it stung like a bitch and I got the chemically taste in my mouth too, but nothing else. Yesturday I injected 6 ml of TBA (75mg per ml) into my right glute and I'm not having any problems thus far. Let's see if I live see monday. ------------------ | ||

Well its good to see that im not the only one that this has happened too... christ it was friggin scarry... all i could think is what am i gonna tell the medics if i dial 911. that would be a great story... " yea i made this concoction myself and decided it would be a great idea to inject it!" DAMN. I shot today and no problems... jeez i was sweating bullets however. |
