Ok guys I need a little advice here. I have a missing package that has been verified was delivered to my POB 12 days ago. I have never been notified in any way that I had that package. My POB is not at the post office but one of those mail centers. The USPS tracking confirms that it was delivered to my POB on that date which makes me belive that it was either 1) put in someone elses box or 2) was misplaced within the mail center. I was in the box this week and even picked up another package. My source is totally cool and has checked everything on his end. I have received no notice(s) from any type of agencies so I'm thinking I need to at least ask the mail center folks about it before I duplicate the order. What do you guys think?     | ||

funny how you are from Ga , I am also. And I too have had packages never arrive. Just hope your source understands and believes you and resends. | ||

If your POB place is something like "Mailboxes Etc" & not too huge, I would think they would be willing to try to look for your package & see if it was misplaced/put in the wrong box. I doubt that the Post Office would be so considerate though. BTW, I went to good 'ole UGA----hunker down hairy dawgs!!!!! | ||

delivery confermation only conferms that it was delivered on a certain date...to somewhere...it doesn't tell you where. Are you sure your source is legit? | ||

I agree look for the package especially if it has a tracking #, its your package and no one knows anything, so deman that the PO finds it. I really don't know if the source would reship in this case, I mean the package shows as getting delivered right? Unless you have a relationship with they guy (like you are a repeat customer) I wouldnt count on it, so go get that package! Slopain | ||

Hey guys thanks for all the info. Yes, my POB is like a "Mailboxes Etc." and yes again, my source is as legit as it comes. We have done a lot of business together and as a matter of fact he has already offered to resend for free or resend with me paying half again.......my choice. Now how's that for a cool dude. Not to get too sentimental but this is a source that I would trust and protect with my life. Maybe i'll go by the POB and check it again today and see what happens I really don't see how it could hurt. If someone had confiscated my gear I would have probably gotten a letter already within 12 days. Yep i'm a GA fan and sorry ftlauderdale but guess we aren't havin such a good year however, my heart is in TN. I'll keep you guys posted. | ||

Hey now don't give us big ass letter carriers a bad name. If it was scanned delivered then it was delivered to that mailboxes etc... If it was to big for your box they probably set it in back and just forgot to put a notice in your box just ask them to check. JCxxx | ||

Be careful using private mail boxes if you order from out of the country. I hear customs checks things going to a PMB address more carefully. | ||

Ok brothers here is the end of this story. Went to the PO Box yesterday afternoon and guess what? Yep, notice inside said "you have a package". Asked the clerk for it and went on my way no probs. Package was fine and everything. It was send from a midwestern town 3 states away from here on 11/18. So, why the hell did the USPS tracking site show it "delivered" to me on 11/20???? That is a question we may never have the answer to but i'm thrilled because I have my gear and I have no desire to continue poking around for an answer. Oh yeah, the big ass postman appears to be getting weaker and smaller too <G> Thanks for hangin in with me on this guys. | ||
