OK, I will give it a good laugh, but will also do anything I can for them. I believe that all of us here would do the same.

If you dont post stupid questions that you can find answers to
elsewhere quite easily, then they wouldnt get so much
shit, at the end of the day just because someone is a
newbie to the board, it doesnt mean they are not time
served bodybuilders, there are guru's on here that never
pumped Iron properly in there lives.

I agree with you to an extent. BUT, flaming someone is actually a tool used to help or motivate that individual to researching some things on their own. When I first came here, I got flamed on my first post. It put a fire under my ass to learn everything I could and continue to learn. Just a thought.

I think newbies are usually either one of two extremes: (1) they have done their homework and post articulate & polite questions/comments---which are responded to positively by the bros on the board; or not quite as commonly (2) they havn't bothered to read anything in here or elsewhere, havn't grasped the concept of the "search" button, and post lame-assed questions that could have been easily answered themselves with minimal homework---"I want to gain 20 lbs, what should I take?". Either that or they totally violate the rules/etiquitte of the board. Its the minority in the latter group that creates friction & invites flames.

I agree that researchand the searcg button is everything and you will learn alot by hitting the button, but on the other hand i wouldn't want someone going and doing something stupid because someone told them to search, search, search...and then there afraid to ask any other questions they might have.....Peace

Some newbies just pop in and think that using gear is not big deal. They want everone to tell them what to do and where to go without learning a damn thing or spending a second researching for themselves. It gets frustrating seeing the same dumbass questions everyday. It's true that everyone was a newbie at one time, but not all of us were dumbass lazy ones. If new guys don't like how they're treated here tough shit! Either learn the rules of the board or get flamed. It seems rude but it's actually to help protect them from using gear wrong, and more importantly to protect them from scammers. No one asked you to come here, feel free to leave if you feel you're treated unfairly. I doubt you'll be missed.

i am a newbie, but i have researched to endless limits, and i dont ask any dumb questions, i actaully can answer intelligently now
but.....
the worst thing in the world is being a newbie, asking a question, getting all excited cause u just got a name, did ur first thread, etc..., and to be shot down because YES YOU COULD HAVE USED THE SEARCH BUTTON, but you wanted the real deal, an answer from one of the BROS, its better to get it straight from the horses mouth then from anywhere else in my opinion

just my .03, yes, my 3 cents
