A short reply to 2thick's comments in Does deca cause Gyno and Steroids are not Magic In honor of Ranger-who knows well the potential evils of Deca Nandrolone, popularly known as Deca, is a classified as a progestin. Deca derives many of its benefits from its progestenic nature: including, but not limited to, increase IM fat storage and increased fluid retention in the joints from glucocorticoid(GC) stimulation. Deca is the most widely used form of prescription contraception in the first world. Deca is superior to testosterone as a form of birth control because its progestenic effects which result in rapid onset of azoospermia. Progestins are used similarly in women, progestins given to women in birth control pills and other drugs such as norgestrel and norethidrone are classified as 19-nor-testosterone or 19 nor- progesterone derivatives. Natural progesterone plays an important role in sexual arousal- affecting GABA to a considerable extent. The addition of progestins like deca which compete with progesterone and decrease its production may result in drastically reduced sexual arousal. Interestingly enough, the chemical castration of sex offenders, is acheived through the use of a 19-nortestosterone derivative. This brings us to the second most common problem with the use of progestenic drugs like Deca, the breast tissue has both PR(progesterone receptors) and ER(estrogen receptors) and stimulation of either will result in new tissue formation and growth. This will vary considerably from individual to individuals based on the numbers and ratio of receptors in the tissue. Some individuals have more PR, which will make them more susceptable to Gyno. Another suspected factor is that there are slightly physiologically different PR, as well as ER and AR, which may effect binding and expression of synthetic progestins either positively or negatively. The use of Anti-estrogens and Aromatase-inhibitors will help by reducing stimulation of the ER in the breast tissue. However, those with high concentrations of PR or PR whose physiology allows for greater binding or expression of progestins will be faced with developing Gynomacastia. In short 1. DECA dick is real 2. DECA does cause Gyno 3. DECA is progestin it must be fought with anti-progestins 4. Use of Nolvadex and Arimidex will help, but only by reducing ER stimulation. Wow I'm impressed, marcro!! I have a question about the gynocomnastia isseu; I've done deca cycles before without any sighns of gynocomnastia. Does this automaticly mean that I have few PR's In my breast tisseu and that I have little chance of gynacomnastia caused by progestins?? Thus I don't have to take anti- progestins?? Or am I missing something?? ------------------ | ||

Macro...just the man I was hoping would pop up sooner or later. On the topic of the RU-486, do you have any notion of what level of dosing/dosing schedule should be used. I have been told it is available in 25mg and 200 mg pills. I am well familiar with the clinical dosage for women, but no idea what is appropriate for our purposes...any ideas? | ||

In response to your sacrilege (regarding KING DECA), I will say that: 1. If Deca Dick does occur, then it is temporary and will go away within a month or so. 2. Deca may cause gyno but I believe it can be controlled effectively with Proviron/Nolvadex. If you are really scared then use Winny (I can't believe I just said that!). 3. Deca is the best mass steroid and it is great by itself for a first cycle.

I would never advise anyone to do a Deca only cycle. The side effects can be too traumatic for some people to handle. I once tried a Deca only cycle and had a limp dick within 3 weeks, this is the same experience as about 90% of my acquaintances who have tried the same approach. Also, clomid and HCG helped very little;only time remedied the problem. Imagine a newbie in the 6th week of a Deca-only cycle with a limp dick and showing early signs of gyno-and guess what??? He cant do shit about it. If a newbie would like to start his steroid experiences with a one product cycle, please choose Testorone-it sides are predictable and avoidable. DECA IS THE BEST MASS STEROID?2THICK,I think you may be suffering from DECA-BRAIN...LOL....Deca will never match test for one simple reason-Although it binds strongly to the androgen receptor,it is piss-poor in non-A/R mechanisms that promote growth.Test excells in both A/R and non-A/R pathways,and is thus far superior at building mass.TEST is a COMPLETE anabolic,deca only"fits in"to stacks...heehee... | ||

I would expect our rhyming fiend to jump at the chance to bash the best overall steroid for a man to use, he simply doesnt get it. i have to agree with HUCK FINN because Deca is not the best mass steroid that is garbage now i dont know the chemistry behind it but i do know that i can put on 30 pounds wiht test and like 5 with deca oh yeah , and if you dont think that deca dick is real you are in your own little world my friend, with all respect of course ------------------ |
