Yes you can get progesterone-induced gyno. From what I have read you can combat this by stacking Deca with Winny. My understanding is that Nolvadex will do nothing for this type of gyno. I got Deca Dick while on my last cycle. I was only using Primo and Deca at first. Once the Deca Dick came on I injected 250mg of Sustanon 250 every other week and the problem went away. Then I started the Clomid therapy or as my wife calls it ball therapy and 4 weeks after my last Deca injection all is well.  | ||

Deca can cause gyno but you can prevent it with Proviron and Nolvadex. Anyone who disagrees, please show me a scientific study that proves that Deca induces progesterone gyno. I have actually releived slight nipple irritaion from Deca with Nolvadex, so I know Nolva works! Deca Dick is rare and is mostly in your head. 2Thick I tries 200mgs of Deca alone and after two weeks my nips were getting painful and bloated. I was going to have it in my bulking cycle but I thought that I should use EQ in its place to be safe. Should I just go with the Deca because I planned on using Nolvadex ED anyway? | ||

Mickey, If you are that sensitive to Deca, you might want to use EQ instead. | ||

wow..very conflicting info..up until now all I have read on this board is that nolva and others will do NOTHING for Deca induced gyno because it is progesterone related...now I'm hearing different from a mod... WTF?? | ||

Deca dick ain't as rare as you may think. This question was asked before and about 40% on the thread said they had experienced it. I think quite a few guys wouldn't admit to it anyway. I have only had it twice, both times with deca. I do not use it anymore. | ||

Shit...Now I'm confused. I was sure that you could do nothing for Deca-gyno (except that RU shit). If so many people get this why would in not be more well known that you can just use Nolv's? I did a Deca only cycle and couldn't go above 350mgs/week because my nips got so ichy and then sore/puffy? Also, how come what someone is doing test with Deca and they feel gyno coming on and they take Nolv's and the gyno doesn't go away it is blamed on the Deca? 2thick...More info? You can also combine winny with the deca and that will prevent the progesterone induced gyno. I'm not sure about the deca dick, I hear alot of conflicting stories on this. But what I do know is if you throw some test into your cycle your boy will raise to the occasion | ||

2Thick, I think you need to seriously reconsider your thoughts on this....Deca has some androgenic qualities and in higher dosages it has the potential to aromatize into a simple estrogen(much the same as EQ) this of course is not the same as an 17AA armotization which may stay in the system for quite awhile unaffected by the liver.... In this case, yes....Prov. or Nolva. would do the trick....BUT, to say that it will compete for the Progest. recepters is somewhat off, and I feel it could give Bro's the wrong impression....Are you trying to raise the stock in Organon, or Norma Hellas...??? There is no scientific evidence, however...studies have shown that Armidex will reduce existing gyno to the point of nullity...REDUCE!!! RU-486.....This drug also shuts down Cortisol in the body....by a vast degree. This is not so benefical either....as with winny only cycles while cutting....you leave the body open for much more of a chance for muscle tears.... Let's try this one again...shall we??? Ranger you bring up valid points. I couldnt believe that someone was saying that Nolva might help fighting gyno from Deca because I never heard that before. About Arimidex...What exactly do these studies say? Do you have any first hand experience in seeing gyno reduce from the Arimidex? I am very interested in this, since I have very slight and small gyno. | ||

A short reply to 2thick In honor of Ranger-who knows well the potential evils of Deca Nandrolone, popularly known as Deca, is a classified as a progestin. Deca derives many of its benefits from its progestenic nature: including, but not limited to, increase IM fat storage and increased fluid retention in the joints from glucocorticoid(GC) stimulation. Deca is the most widely used form of prescription contraception in the first world. Deca is superior to testosterone as a form of birth control because its progestenic effects which result in rapid onset of azoospermia. Progestins are used similarly in women, progestins given to women in birth control pills and other drugs such as norgestrel and norethidrone are classified as 19-nor-testosterone or 19 nor- progesterone derivatives. Natural progesterone plays an important role in sexual arousal- affecting GABA to a considerable extent. The addition of progestins like deca which compete with progesterone and decrease its production may result in drastically reduced sexual arousal. Interestingly enough, the chemical castration of sex offenders, is acheived through the use of a 19-nortestosterone derivative. This brings us to the second most common problem with the use of progestenic drugs like Deca, the breast tissue has both PR(progesterone receptors) and ER(estrogen receptors) and stimulation of either will result in new tissue formation and growth. This will vary considerably from individual to individuals based on the numbers and ratio of receptors in the tissue. Some individuals have more PR, which will make them more susceptable to Gyno. Another suspected factor is that there are slightly physiologically different PR, as well as ER and AR, which may effect binding and expression of synthetic progestins either positively or negatively. The use of Anti-estrogens and Aromatase-inhibitors will help by reducing stimulation of the ER in the breast tissue. However, those with high concentrations of PR or PR whose physiology allows for greater binding or expression of progestins will be faced with developing Gynomacastia. In short 1. DECA dick is real 2. DECA does cause Gyno 3. DECA is progestin it must be fought with anti-progestins 4. Use of Nolvadex and Arimidex will help, but only by reducing ER stimulation. Also, Armidex is not a anti-progest. It works on estrogen(blocks it) RU-486 and winny have the anti-progest. qualities you seek... Ranger | ||
