ok, its a sharp burning pain, its locatad at the top of the knee joint. it is worse when i first get up or while trying to sit down. it came on a week ago PRIOR to leg training, and then it was just the right one, the next day it was both knees.. now the left is worse then the right... any ideas? tendons? arthritis?

back ground, years of basketball, no real knee injuries, many ankle ones...

Sounds like the tendon just below the patella or the patella is rubbing jue to bad lubrication. I'd take it easy for a couple of weeks, take cod liver oil and drink lots of water. If it doesn't get better see a specialist bro, it is difficult to tell without seeing it, you may even need an x-ray. People will probably recommend deca but that may just mask the problem making it worse when you come off.

It sounds like possible patellar tendonitis....where the patellar tendon originates at the quad....Don't think its meniscal...regardless..if you don't have access to ultrasound treatments...an anti-inflammatory and some simple iceing...and lots of it-should shrink that inflamed tendon....rest always helps too.....I'm an athletic trainer at the college I go to so I see this problem lots - ice 3-4x a day-20 min. intervals.......Good luck bro.....

Dude,

My knees mess with me every now and then. When they start to hurt I use this anti-inflamitory gel that my Doc gave me. You just rub it on two or three times a day and usually in a couple days they are back to normal. I can't remember the name of it but just ask and I am sure the Doc will know what you are taking about. Either than or get some Deca.JK

TAKING DECA NOW, THINK THAT IS ACTUALLY ADDING TO THE PAIN... THE HIGHER THE DOSE THE MORE THE PAIN
