Ok I haven't used any anabolics yet but awhile ago I took corticosteroids (decadron) over a period of time, off and on. I noticed when I took them for more than a few days then stopped, about 2-3 days later I would strart getting these weird symptoms, the same every time. It would just be like a general angry, anxious, and on-edge feeling, EXTREME insomnia, and increased libido for a period of 24-36 hours. I was thinking that maybe the steroid suppresses your adrenals and when they finally start secreting again, the built up adrenalin etc. comes out in a "storm" of sorts. This would explain the symptoms, I think. Anyone experience a similair situation with any anabolics? Can anyone come up with a better theory as to the cause of this?     | ||

I should have mentioned decadron has a duration of action orally of maybe 56-72 hours? So the onset of these symptoms seems to be a little while after the point when the drug stops working... Obviously most injectable last longer than this so I would expect any similair experiences with those to happen later after the last injection... | ||

I was just thinking maybe with test you would have something similair, since it probably supresses natural testosterone production... I'd think when it returned it would storm. I guess not though seeing as how noone has posted. Thanks. |
