hey guys.... just want your thought on eating meat... i know you're going to say it's a must to eat meat to get B.I.G.

I've never ate meat in my life (20 years) so it wont be easy for me to just put it in my mouth.

I need you help in 'training my mind' to eat it because i think about doing it and just cant picture eating it! What foods do you think i should try at first... something that wont discourage me from it, and something not to harsh (like a steak).

This might seem funny/stupid to some, but considering i never even ate a burger in my life... it's going to be a hard and long process for me....

any advice would be great.. thanks bros!!

Chicken strips don't really look like meat. Dip 'em in some honey-mustard sauce and you're good to go. How about those fish fillets?

Also, you don't HAVE to eat meat to get big. Get your protein from elsewhere. Are you vegan, too? Can you eat eggs, or drink milk? Maybe grab some protein shakes or MRP's.

Tons of options, bro!

When you add meat into your diet, do it SLOWLY. Your body has never used the enzymes needed to break down meat. In fact, you may no longer produce them. A very good friend of mine became a vegetarian about two years ago. When we last went out for Chinese food, they brought chicken chow mein by accident instead of the veggie he ordered. He ate a single bite of chicken by accident and became VERY ill. If he can lose the ability to digest meat over such a relatively short period of time, I'd say you stand a fair chance of experiencing the same thing.

Good luck bro!

btw - There are plenty of big vegetarian BBers... It's not a popular choice, and it's not easy get all your protien without meat, but it can be done. Not that I'd want to do it though!!! LOL.

twiggy's right, you can get all kinds of burgers that are not meat but have protein like soy burgers.

Like most said, best is the real deal but if you can't eat meat try the veggie burgers. Can you eat fish? If so just eat tons of tuna right out of the can if possible with some lemon to help kill some of the fishiness. If not get the mayo out.

Also, noone said eating like a horse would be easy, sometimes I have to force myself to eat to the point where I feel like I'm going to puke.

But how can you not like a big juicy steak anyway? just kidding, everybody's different.

Why don't you try some 95% lean ground beef. Make it in a maid-rite fashion (i.e. keep it chopped up) add some onion and black beans and a little A1. It's good bro.

Doing it this way might be easier than having to bite into something and chew it up. Really though, you just have to get over it in your mind. Big vegitarians are the exception, not the rule. Aside from that, meat has creatine, great protein and amino acid profiles, essential fats and minerals -- all sorts of good stuff. Just think of yourself as a hardcore predator and your giving your body the fuel it needs -- get primal bro... good luck.

Humans are by nature carnavores. Go to a good steak house order a NY Strip cooked medium well and eat away. Don't be a funkin pussy. Humans have lived on the earth for thousands of years eatting meat. MMMMM my mouth starts watering when I think about Mortons Steaks...

Just grill some plain chicken breasts for a while, and maybe add some spices...ground turkey, turkey breast, tuna steaks (and fish), etc. are all good, too...I was a vegetarian for about 6 months before I started bodybuilding (was a bit...well, fat!) and I actually enjoyed it--you never feel full, and I had just the same amount of energy, just drank a few protein shakes a day and was fine...

Fish are like veggies with fins, I can't see any moral or practical dilemma eating fish. Soy protein isolates get a bad rap bro, you can buy it for $3/lb (US) and it is a complete protein, more biologically available and with a (possibly) superior amino profile to any meat. I've got friends who are vegan and they still get swoll using the stuff. Course, they could never give a good answer for why they were willing to take trenbolone made for cows, but not eat the cows. Peace!

Veggies with fins LOL! Never seen my cabbages flop around like that when I pull them outta the ground. Like Twiggy said, go easy when you first start eating meat. And also like Twiggy said, you don't HAVE to eat meat to be a good bodybuilder. Good luck whatever you decide.

8pack, Humans aka Homo Sapiens, are not carnivores, we are Omnivores, Our Intestines are a mid size between Herbivores and carnivores, hence the reason we were not meant to eat only greens. If that was so, we would not have teeth for meat chewing, we would have a mouth like a cow.

and aky, Try Roast beef w/ gravy... mmmmmmm ,, or Chicken Breast.

aky, aky, aky. be sure you'll do some research before you start using meat. it can be dangerous stuff if you don't know what you're doing..there are plenty of threads of meat, so search..

and after a cycle of meat, keep those veggies around, so your own vegetable production won't shut down.. and remember, if you eat too much meat, you might get the fierced "meatecomastia". your ears starts to grow and can reach the size of lettuce.

just keep out of meat-a-drol and meat-o-testin, they are harsh on your hemorrhoids

rock on, aky!
