Okay here's the deal... What happens when you order from an overseas pharmacy and it gets seized? My buddy claims that all that will happen is you will receive a seizure letter, nothing else. Yet I have heard on the news that some people were recently arrested in the states for ordering large quantities of drugs through overseas pharmacies... Anyone know what happens when shit gets seized??? Anyone have personal experiences to share??? Any help will be appreciated! Personal use quantities is all I have ever dealt with. I have gooten my seizure letter and nothing else. I know little about large quantity orders. Bump ------------------ | ||

Thanks Jersey. In case anyone is wondering, I know you can't get your shit back if a packeage gets seized. I just was wondering if there are any legal repurcussions beyond the "letter." thanks again | ||

Anyone order anything that may be considered "borderline" though? Like an amount you know is for personal use but one the law might try and say is indicative of an intent to distribute? This is my particular situation... | ||

They may come after you. They may not. There is no definite answer. The larger your order, the more inclined they are to come after you or start watching you. What EXACTLY did you order and in how much quantity? | ||

I was nervous yesterday because I usually get alot of mail and I hadn't received one letter in over a week, so I thought maybe all my mail was being collected by an agency or something... but then the mail came and I finally felt alot better. The overseas order is 3 weeks old so it is likely still in transit, and this worries me just because I have alot at stake if I am arrested just once. I got this scholarship thing... | ||

That guy MJ was full of it. The DEA would not just have confiscated that much gear, they would have let it carry on to it's destination, and than busted whomever opened it. Think about it, all the guy has to say now if they question him is "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about, I don't do roids, that package was obviously mistakenly addressed". The DEA could say nothing against this. | ||

I have recieved several (20) customs letters some big orders, some small and thats it....no knocks on the door my belief is that there are a lot bogger fish to fry as the saying goes ------------------ | ||

Physics and Conan, both of those posts were very, very helpful. Anyone have any clue about what would happen with and order of say personal use amounts of valium? I would assume that there is a possiblity that this is treated differently than steroids. Don't flame about this is a anabolic board cause this IS relevant. | ||

It still goes along with what conan said. They are not going to come down on you from one bottle of valium. Just like they're not going to come down on you for a couple of bottles of say, Aratest. The whole process of arresting you and taking you to court is much too costly. Remember, they "may" send the local cops to arrest you, but DEA agents still have to show up in court because they are the ones with the evidence against you. Too much of a pain in the ass for piddly shit amounts of an illegal substance. Conan, 20 seizure letters? Shit bro, you gotta flagged hard enough for em to know when you fart in a closet:-) | ||

If you ordered from an online pharmacy chances are good that your package will get caught. Anything that you can find on the web, the gov't can find, too. And customs can be incredibly slow about the letter, so you might not hear for a couple of weeks. If you used your home address or PO Box, you shouldn't have a problem with the scholarship, because no one else needs to know. But, if you used a school address then customs might get your local campus police involved, since your package is going through the institution's internal mail. By the way, you from B-town? Where do you work out? | ||

overseas? 3 weeks is not a long time with the holidays and all. fed ex is a risk. Usps priority mail with a tracking number and never a signature required is good as well though gear in the mail is always a risk. if you do ever receive a letter just throw it out and write it off as gone. If they want to bust your door down the gear has to be in your house or on ya. Whats to say someone who hates you sent you something illegal? It happens. Never sign for a package and always know your source. It easier being clean though I am hoping the muscle tech stuff in my house does not become controlled (this is a joke) |
