I met Coleman back in '97 and he wasn't quite that big, but damn did he look and sound healthier back then....the man was out of breath from posing for 20 seconds! And how about his face....can you say GH-induced acromegaly! Damn Ronnie! You better eat all the chips, burgers you can and have sex now while you can, cause I wouldn't be surprised if you were dead by next year!! Plus, he sure made himself look dumb to anyone who has the slightest knowledge of physiology, .33% BODYFAT IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT BEING DEAD!! Damn...he could at least lie realistically..... Yea I noticed...I had a friend that went to the Mr. O this year. He said that Ronnie went out one night for less that 1/2 hour. Was sweating like a pig and way out of breath. No steroids...Genetic Freak...Give me a break. Did anyone catch Leno's comment about hoping that everything worked down there? Subtle but obviously Ronnie was not fooling anyone. But man is he huge. | ||

Yeah, I was VERY disappointed in Ronnie's level of perceived intelligence. He was huge no doubt, but in the shape he is in, I don't see how he is a cop. What if he had to actually chase a criminal? He wouldn't make it 100 yards without passing out!! What good is a cop if all he can do is sit in a car all day? Why would anybody be scared of a person who can't hardly stand up without getting winded? LOL!! He may be the biggest mofo in the ranks, but I would argue that a physique like Arnold's is still much better looking. I know most of you won't agree with me on that. | ||

The only time I ever heard Ronnie speak before last night was on the Olympia 99 video where he said y'all a million times, but last night I thought he spoke rather well. Yes, he was out of breath for no reason, yes he had a huge GH belly, and yes it's impossible to have .33% body-fat and still be alive, but give the guy some credit. He's not a celeberty that's used to doing nationaly telivised programs and at least he had a quick response to all of Leno's questions. this sport to be taken by foplks as serious needs a spokesperson. yes it is a sport but the modern day bodybuilding is so unintouich with reality its not funny. the older ones (arnold, lee haney, lee labrada) did a better job at name and brand recognition and had bodies one could hope to have. now it size at all costs. shawn ray has the body to be proud of as does flex wheeler before synthol and trying to blame the size game. ronnie is huge but twice as stupid and it truly hurts the sport. i can't beleive how many responses this post even got. i was just writing this since i was frustrated after his appearance | ||

I've met Ronnie on numerous occasions. He a very nice & down to earth guy. He's one of the few(if not the only one) BB's that actually has a job besides "personal training". He might not be the smartest or the most articulate person but could any of you do any better?? Remember Ronnie just competed and after a show bb's tend to go hog wild eating therefore gaining an enormous amount of weight. Maybe that's why his stomach appeared so huge, hmmmm?? Maybe breaking up with Vickie Gates led him to overeat, who knows!!! Why would he admit to drug usage, many of you don't and you don't have as much to lose as he does. As long as he passes the Arlington Police Department urine test he stays a cop(they check for narcotics, maryjane NOT AS). What about the fat fucks that are cops? They can barely roll themselves out of their cop cars. I think Ronnie still patrols but does more deskwork. Fact: Ronnie Coleman makes more money that any other Mr. Olympia including Dorian Yates not including his seminar fees and internet training and selling a ton of photos. As far as this being the last year of winning the Mr. Olympia title. I heard(IFBB, NPC honchos) that unless he shows up in the worst condition ever or retire he's got a lock on this title. I'm very surprise at the lack of support. I bet Jay Leno ratings went through the roof with Ronnie's appearance, that alone might get him offers from Hollywood. | ||

No he's right Ronnie Coleman could be a monster with no lines. . .or a corpse if they wait a few years. I actually think he looked terrible. His conversation was unintelligable and his presence was poor. He is certainly a freak, but not of nature, or chemistry. Agreed, many of us and all pro's use AS, however, there is a maximum amount of thickness that one can have before he leaves the ranks of body building and joins the ranks for circus attraction. Arnold was certainly a tremendous champion, both for the sport and for his remarkable physical presence. The sport needs another and less reliance on thickness and more on the complete package, vascularity and hardness. The Gary Strydoms or Rich Gasparis looked much better. . .just my opinion, but I'll take Arny of Coleman anytime. Not to forget Lee Haney. ------------------ | ||

Why don't you guys stop sweating him already! First of all, I'm not saying that he didn't fuck up last night with some of the things he said but, number one ,he could have very easily seemed out of breath because he was fucking nervous. The guy is not on national TV quite often so he can't be a little nervous? And even if he was a little out of breath, any of you guys on here that know anything at all about diet and drugs know that you can get shredded without an ounce of cardio. Who wants to do cardio if you can get ripped without it, right? and don't give me the bulshit how you do it cause you enjoy it and you like to work out your heart cause if you were so concerned about all that , you wouldn't be shootin needles in your asses. So of course he might not be the best conditioned to carry around 300 pounds of muscle all day long. Would you? Another thing is that anyone who has competed knows how hard it is to look as good as he did going on a month and a half after his show. He was still showing all his definition and some vascularity, fuck his stomach. ALL THESE FUCKING GUYS HAVE IT!!! ITS THE GH!!! Those who don't right now will get it. So yeah, Coleman is an idiot but that proves even more that he won the Olympia fair and sqaure because if the fix was in, they wouldn't have a guy who is gonna make the organization look so stupid win. They had to give it to him because he is so far ahead of the other guys as I've emphasized in other posts. | ||

Man, I really didn't have any idea REALLY how big those guys are. They are in the realm of non functional. Personally, I aspire not only to look like, but be as functionally strong and have the endurance of Juoko Ahola. If you guys don't know him, he's won the WSM 3 or 4 times. He would beat Ronnie in all lifts, more than likely kill him on most, and he can carry a 300 pound rock further than Coleman can carry his own body. | ||

Who'e everyone? I don't compare Arnold and Ronnie Coleman. There is no comparison, if we are talking about BBuilding. Arnold looked like shit by today's standards. He was smooth as a baby's ass ,ho no fuckin legs or calves, all chest , pussy arms, are you kidding? He only got by because of his personality. And trust me, if he had the shit available to him back then that they have now, he'd have the distended abs and look big and blocky like all the rest of them. But still wouldn't place in the top ten. Coleman...yeah he's one hell of a bodybuilder, he's fuckin huge. But does he look like a circus fatman...yes! Why isn't being bloated and blocky marked down just as being out in poor condition or having a weak bodypart. This is ridiculous. I was so excited when I found out that ronnie was gonna be on leno. I figured this is really gonna be a boost to bodybuilding, mainstream attention. Boy was I wrong. He made a mocary of himself and the sport. The public got a rare chance to see what pro bodybuilders are like, we had our chance, and it was blown! Now imagine if Kevin Levrone had won like he should have. The man can actually speak, I saw him once on a music show on BET, and you wouldnt know he was a bodybuilder, u'd think he was an actor. He's smart and funny and has a great physique.
