A buddy of mine was just prescribed the test patch (2.5mg), his testosterone test showed him at a pathetic 114ng/dl (average is between 3-1100). Anyway, this got me thinking.....there is a huge difference in say 500mg/wk of injectable test versus a 2.5 mg patch. Granted when taking steroids, us normal guys are wanting to throw our hormonal balance out of wack for the purpose of building muscle. I am just wondering how much of injectables are absorbed because even though my friend is being put on the patch to raise test to normal levels it is still a very small amount compared to an inject. When you think about it ratio wise...us normal guys might have, say 700ng/dl of test but when taking roids it raises it to 1200 ng/dl. He is on the patch starting at 114 ng/dl and they are trying to get him up to atleast 600ng/dl. So, you see they are achieving somewhat the same gain in test levels but at 200times less dosage. Can someone explain this.....it seems for whatever reason the patch is more potent or effective or something......just curious..
