i need help. Recently my workouts have been unmotivated and un productive. And I need change. lifting for a year now, but only seriously for 5 months. I started @ 200lbs (5"7)high bf. I went down to 147lbs about 3 months ago. Now Im 174lbs I currently do a 4 day routing consisting of

Day 1: Chest
Day 2: Back
day 3:rest
day 4:arms:
day 5:legs
day 6&7 rest.

Im looking to put on some quality muscle increase strength.
what would you suggest as a routine that would be good for me.

I currently get about 2000-3000 calories a day. which includes about 200-250 grams of protein and about 60 g of fat the rest is carbs. I easily store fat.

I am not really considering steroids at this time since im only 17 and I belive that they would do more harm than good right now.

Hey man, just keep plugging away. 1 year is really not much time under your belt, especially if you've only been going hard for 5 months. Most guys around here have been lifting hard for ten times that long, at least.

Its nice to see that you are a smart kid and know to stay away from steroids at your age. Just make sure you're eating right and being diligent about lifting. At your age, you could end up growing two inches in the next year and putting on 30lbs, so be patient.

Sorry bro, I did not read the whole thing. So you are looking for a training routine...I see. Since you are only 17 this would be good for you.


Day 1- Chest and Triceps
Day 2- Back and Biceps
Day 3- Legs and Shoulders
Day 4- Rest
Day 5- Chest and Triceps
Day 6- Back and Biceps
Day 7- Rest


Thats what I did in high school.
Are you looking to take any supplements? If so, lemme know. Thats my specialty, that routine is just what i did in high school.

Depending on the exercises you are doing in your routine, the routine itself looks good. I would say eat more. 2000-3000 calories is bird feed. Gotta eat to grow/and get stronger.
