Im starting a bulking cycle on the 1st and I picked up some myoplex meal replacement packs 42 for 58.95. Im not a big eater, so Im using 3 of these with 7 small meals over the course of a day to pack on size. The two questions I have for those that have tried these is: Is this a fair price and how were the results over eating regular meals. For me, Its not needles, sleeping, working out, ect. Its getting quality cals. in on a daily basis. I start out stong but, after a few weeks of heavy eating I loose drive to eat. Advice? Thanks, The Freak

That's a good price for Myoplex. I use at least 4 a day to keep my protein intake high. They sure are easy too when you don't have any food in the house or don't feel like cooking. Drink lots of water with the protein shakes to help absorption of the amino acids into the gut.

Damn....

You guys must have a great pating job or a big credit card. Paying that much for powdered protien. That adds up to almost 120 a month in protien powder.

I use a good product Perfect RX by Natures Best. I order it form DPS in 20lbs jugs. I can't remember the price but I think it averages to be $25-35 per 5lbs. And 5lbs is good for a month at one shake a day.

There is no replacement for real food and real calories. I dring 1-2 myplex/day, but it isn't the same. A nutritionist buddy of mine said I'd be better off eating 3 jumbo egg whites and multivitaman.

Not a flame here but how can some people just not eat enough. I've seen people who eat like birds and I just wonder how can they be satisfied with so little food. I can't imagine this. I'm still hungry even if I eat 5000cals a day. I get sick of food but I could still eat more. What is it that causes this lack of appetite in some people? The only advice I can give is just eat. Solid food is better than powders and far more satisfying. Learn to be a big eater. Your body will get used to it.

Meal replacement says it all. Why replace a meal? If you can't eat 6 meals a day you are in the wrong sport. I eat seven, take protein drinks as well and still struggle to put weight on. EAT EAT EAT!
